Gotta give the audience some credit though....this is in Lithuania! THEY STILL SOUND GREAT! I bet many don't even speak English...in fact you can hear areas where they didn't quite know the exact words, but they went for it anyway!
Pretty much most Lithuanians can speak English... to be honest singing wise.. Lithuanians, as well as Estonians and Latvians have this singing culture.. they all pretty much sing in choirs throughout school from 1st grade until college.
Lol that makes sense, lol was a bit stumped as to how they didn't know the lyrics I was thinking new gneration at first
MonsTeRrrrrrR!!!!!!
His bass singing tone is my absolute favorite
The trust he has in his audience is his greatest skill.
I mean he can kinda sing too
@@hondaken8402 oh there is that, too ;)
The range of his vocals is just amazing. It's literally no struggle at all for him to go from a deep sound to a higher one.
.
And how engaging and charismatic he is that he can get his audience to sing a song and be part of this experience !
Imagine if he was introduced to a loop pedal
.....right Sir........👍☝️🎹
@@marlonpotakaharu4117 - He used multitrack recording for Don’t Worry Be Happy.
I don’t know how McFerrin was ever able to swallow an MPC, an 808, and an Autotune plug-in all those years ago, but it’s impressive that neither the circuits nor his anatomy were damaged when he did.😂
Love this man so much. The world is better anytime anyone hears him.🙏🏼❤️🔥
How can every single person in this crowd not be compelled to connect by singing such a wonderful rendition of this song. With Bobby Mcferrin to boot!!???
I was thinking the same thing I would have loved this.
they’re in lithuania, most of them don’t speak english, if i’m not mistaken
This is in Lithuania, many of them don't know English nor the lyrics.
Because the human voice is raspy, wheezy and wet? When people start singing I need my noise cancelling headphones.
Machinery sounds soothing, but humans sound like someone is hurting a small animal. I will never understand how normies can just listen to singing without getting a migraine.
@@InservioLetum "guys, look at me, i'm so unique and autistic. Am i not so special?"
Directs the whole audience all the way through up to 2/3rd of the bridge . Smoothly stops the musical bus . Redirects the audience finishes the song .No musical train wreck. Evey music teacher in the world needs to watch this video. Bobby your # 1 in my book !
So patient, so instinctively pushing audiences in the right direction so they feel happy about participating.
Macc Ferrin est unique et extraordinaire dans ses rythmes, ses scats ,et ses arrêts et reprises de mélodies a cappella.
I can`t believe how many people are not singing.
they might not know the song
IT'S NOT THEIR LANGUAGE ! Bobby knows he is in Lithuania.
Yep , Its a reggae man!
The concert is in Lithuania!!!
theyre in the front seats. theyre rich assholes. the singing crowd is in the back, as always
One of the only artists who's instrument pays to be there.
I'm totally impressed! He isn't from this world. I love his voice!
Why on Earth is everyone shutting on the audience? This is in Lithuania right?most of the audience probably didn’t even know the song or at least not know enough of the melody to sing it fully. The people that knew the song sang it and that’s all that matters
A good audience would have made this a way better performance. Bobby is freaking AMAZING!
Be nice with an audience that doesn't speak english.
You understand it was in Lithuania?
@@DAS1962 you understand "la la la" is an international language?
@@narmsemca7765 Everybody can say "la la la". Loud and clear.
@@morrisal they are in fucking Lithuania, probably not all of them know this AMERICAN song. The world doesn’t revolve around America.
he is in Lithuania so I think he is working thru the language barrier amazing
Johnphro the fact that he’s got people in Lithuania singing w him.. wow
Audience: I can see clearly now, the rain is gone. I can se....*mumbles mumbles mumbles".....
JonaSaxify this is in lithuania. I bet you wouldn’t be doing much better if you were singing in lithuanian
@@ziruini5071 Of course not, that's why I would be singing in English
@@JonaSaxify It is easy to say "I would be singing in English" when most of all popular songs are in your language. I'm not saying it shouldn't be like that but you have to think about this cultural imbalance
hahahahah
i think the crowd did really great actually ........ its not like they had rehearsed this for weeks, or that they necessarily all came prepared with lyrics. also, i dont think the organisers had a large number of mics specifically placed to capture crowd singing.
This man is such a treasure.
This could not have been done better.
that only applys to bobby :)
George Bakewell poooooooooooooop
All these comments on the crowd....LOL....this is freaking Lithuania....give them a break.... :)
I think the most interesting thing for me is the last note of the song. The way the audience splits into a harmony; one half of them following the original melody of the song, and the other half singing the note Bobby sings. Knowing Bobby, you know that was definitely intentional. Such a creative man!
It touched me too. It’s a beautiful end transition from the pace of the entire song
Actually Booby is singing the 5th, but you can hear the audience sing a 1st _and_ a 3rd! (And also potentially a 5th like Bobby but I can't hear it) He let the audience actually make the chord resolved, otherwise his own note would be somewhat ambiguous; the melody really ends on the 1st, so I'm not sure why anyone is even singing a third, but it's awesome!
Edit: ain't no way I wrote "Booby" lol
Bobby Mcferrin: A singer who has a multi-channeled voicebox :)
Damn, I never heard of bobbymcferrin before but this legends is like fingerstyle of acapella. Im going to dive more of his work!
This is so true, real, and moving. What a luminous human being! Brought tears to my eyes.
I also had tears... so amazing....
Me too . Sheer pleasure to watch and feel
Imagine watching this but with Jacob Collier's audience, they always seem to be highly qualified musicians on his shows! =) This was amazing though, not taking anything away from the performance!
That's almost exactly what i was thinking of. Jacob collier usually has a musically competent audience, Bobby McFerrin would take that to a whole new level.
1:17 deepest "Bruh" I have ever heard
lolllllllll
🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
I love how he includes his audience. He just makes me want to sing.
Это ещё раз доказывает, что человеческие возможности безграничны . Это гениально )
Возможности голоса*
А человеческие все таки ограничены)
Damn, I didn't realize I watched this 1.7 million times already!
Sometimes they tune down the audience for broadcasts so viewers can hear the artist (who isn't usually this interactive) sing better
Он потрясающий! Один из алмазов настоящих землян, талант безукоризненный, редкий, всем разноязычным человекам понятный без перевода и дорог, - талант, которым распоряжается и щедро делится с нами.
I desperatly want to see him in concert. He is a musical genius. How is he not more popular than Justin Bieber, One Direction, and Miley Cyrus combined. He has more talent than the three of them combined timed 300000!!!
Pretty simple reason, he doesn't really play or sing pop music.
It's because music gets trumped by business and manufactured human drama. You're right, in principle he deserves far more recognition than them.
ASarcasticallyNicePerson hahaha. "a negative value"
Es la primera ocasión que escuchó está canción y estoy maravillado

I used to sing this song with both my kids in the car while driving them to school. It was my favorite song of all time. It expressed how I felt.
If y'all don't know this is the guy who sang the song that is the cure for all sicknesses The feel good song of the century." Dont Worry Be Happy"
Im drunk and just want a thumbs up. It sounds as if i am in the audience...... love this song......
still immaculate...even with this audience on melody...and thats damn impressive
He's so god damn good it's like he has autotune in him!
perfect pitch
Amazing talent from Bobby. Sound folks might have considered miking the crowd louder so they could be heard.
I wish I had Bobby on kareoke to sing along with. It would make me feel better all the time.
LOL That would be awesome!!!
My tears fell listening to his majestic vocalisation...❤️
HOW HAVE I JUST NOW DISCOVERED THIS MIRACLE OF A MAN
Listen to the tune "Stars" on the album he made with Yo-Yo Ma called "Hush."
The crowd actually went "nanananananan" and "lalalalalala" for most of the time oml I can't 😂😒
One of the greatest musical scientists of all time
I don't know if im right but I think this guy has perfect pitch, anyone can confirm this ......every not spot on awesome
pretty good :0
This is amazing. Unbelievable talent. And the crowd was good too.
Magnífico, fantástico, mágico, genial, maravilhoso!
You can not sing two parts at the same time. It's not possible. *watches video again*
OK he's not human. That's the only explanation!! Beautiful!
*Rest In Peace Legend, Johnny Nash (1940-2020)*
An amazing rendition! Bobby always brings class and unity everywhere he touches down ......
I'm so amazed by this guy and I'm so young but would love to have an african only vocal Xhosa song with this man....Wow
that crowd sucks!
that crowd needs help
Gerardo Lopez dzgajwharv1be
I think they could have been recorded better! If you listen carefully they are sounding good (those that are singing.)
I think this is the best you can get with a lithuanian crowd.
it's because they don't know the song. i just know the first lyric I would've been (and i am) clueless about the rest of the song.
they need a chorus to follow him around everywhere. I can't imagine how great this would sound with a good chorus.
my soul was screaming out every word 🕊
That crowd need a slap to wake the F up
Rest in clarity Johnny Nash, 10/06/2020...
Girl : so what do you do for a living ?
Bobby: Its hard to explain...
Bobby is AMAZING!!! What makes me mad is that people are just sitting there like there isn't a legend performing in front of them. And some people aren't even singing. Maybe I'm a different breed but those people look so uninterested. You guys need to watch Smile by Bobby McFerrin. Amazing
It's simply not their language.
("Kaunas" not "Kansas")
The classic case of where only afterwards you realize how great something really was..
@@l.b.2392 more like the classic case of not knowing the language in which the song was written in
he is a genius...his audience is just bad!!! really bad
They speak Lithuanian.
I bet you wouldn’t be doing much better if you were singing in lithuanian
The only show where I'd be compelled to do vocal warm-ups before leaving the house
12 years and this is my first time coming across this, I’m disappointed in you UA-cam..
A damn orchestra in one man!
Do you want to be happy??? Watch this guy every morning..!!! Best Wishes from Mairiporã., in Brazil..!👋😁🎤👍
👏
Dope idea to have some sub activation in that mic for the low notes. Bobby McFerrin's so musical and a world class performer.
It's wrong because Bobby McFerrin has the ability to sing multiple notes at once, and that is what he is doing here. It is impossible to cleanly switch an octaver on and off as would be necessary. There's a video of Drive where Bobby hits 3 notes at once, so clearly he has the ability. All of Bobby's solo shows are simply him and a mic with no vocal effects added aside from basic reverb and compression.
All these critics of the crowd -- Kaunas is in LITHUANIA, he's performing a A- tier pop hit from 1972...
This is beautiful but I can't stop laughing because of the BRUH at 1:16
OMG !! This is BASS VOICE 😳 Woww best voice .. DONT WORRY BE HAPPY
When he sings the low notes.. Does he have like an octave pedal or so?
Nope. That's all him. Bobby McFerrin is just that legit.

There's no one like Bobby Mcferrin!
Tears from joy... angels...
Same.
I watched this now for the 20. time, still good. Love it
@Richard Albert: What are talking about? The crowd was singing. They may have not been singing loud, but they were singing. The proof was in the last note. Man it sounded awesome.
It's really hard to believe that people like this actually exist in the world! Astonishing, simply amazing!
1:16 THE BEST "bruh" EVER
Too few people were singing along.
These is pure Genius, RIP Johnny Nash!
That was good he should've recorded this cover.
Instead of having McFerrin on the Jumbotron, they should have had the lyrics to the song.
I saw him at Carnegie Hall in April 1987 and he is such a brilliant man. He did his condensed version of The Wizard of Oz, which I hope is somewhere here on UA-cam.........
I figured him out. He's wanting to be several voices so much he punches them out of himself. And he comes divinely close.
Esse é Bobby mcferrin , que os fãs gostam.
Sera que tem algum brasileiro aqui que gosta desse icone ou eu sou o unico ?
he is so amazing!... good child good music memories from him and have such a application for him now as a adult!... generally happy music
Controle de respiração e voz,único!
Few people only sing 🎤
Because those people who never participate are ignorant to real music ... how sad ‘
All they know are looping DJ music and monotonous notes that’ keeps repeating for 20 minutes until they go Numb
They just sat there and feel out of place. Lol 😂
simple and beautiful
so much better than most shows these days
1:37 man in red seems to be having an absolute blast
witch one is original? jimmy cliff - i can see clearly now or Johnny Nash - I Can See Clearly Now
One of the first times I got high I was walking through the woods with my friends and was freaking out bc I could hear Bobby Mcferrin singing to me and I realized it was my headphones
It sounded like it went thru' studio editing.
Crowd so mediocre he had to start signing himself 😂💀
They don't speak English. Give them a break.
no one wants to go to a concert to hear the crowd sing
Ni hace falta música el lo hace todo,lo mejor!!!
I love this genious talent´s voice. He is totally amazing.
Your Song Sung By Thousands Loud. Come to South Africa. It's Where THAT Happens.
Concert's in Lithuania in 2011. Maybe not everyone there knows an American hit from 1970?
Imagine being in the audience of Bobby McFerrin and not singing along with him! How could you not!?
Michael Barrett maybe because they speak lithuanian lol
