I am from Malaysia,have been using this phone for 1 month now. I would say it is the best Android phone available. Im a content creator and the phone color skin for light skin ppl is far superior compare to iphone.

This has got to be one of the best if not the best phone camera reviews I have ever watched not just on a specific product either. Loved how you explained and tested out nearly everything regarding the phone in terms to the camera. You just went straight to the point and I loved it thank you. X100 pro is definitely something ill be picking up here in a week. I was looking at Xiaomi 14 Ultra or Pixel 8 pro then your basic iphone and galaxy contenders. Vivo really went far with there camera. I cant wait to use it. Im not too fond of the video tho. The cinematic feature looks decent but the photos just blow everything away. Im just looking for something extremely light and pocket friendly. Glad i saw this. X100 for photos and osmo pocket 3 for me on videos.

What happens with this type of Camera phone is that having 1 inch sensor , does make big difference in Portrait and low light images and cinematic Video, but when it still does NOT really match DSLR standard, you tend to hate this phone, while it still performs better than almost all phones, well now next x110 , will again head more close to being DSLR.. but that needs time to be spent and wait...
Some of these portrait shots are so convincing, I would seriously have a hard time telling the difference between a real mirrorless camera/DSLR & these.
I'm a photographer myself & own Sony Alpha 7 IV & multiple lenses.
Also own the new Galaxy S24 Ultra & the camera hardware on this phone is far better.

You seem to be a professional, so you would be knowing that Photography is a skill. Your device doesnt matter. You have s24 ultra which is regarded as the 2nd best Photography mobile. Olle nilsson is the best example. He takes stunning pics even with a mid level smartphone.

Photography is a skill for sure, but gear does matter. It's the very tool that actually captures the photo in the first place.
Skills like composition, right angles/perspectives, editing & post processing can improve a shot by miles, but if it's limited to a potato camera, you won't be going far. You will limit your potential.
Having said that, I also believe gear doesn't make a photographer by itself. You can absolutely get some nice shots with any phone nowadays because they're all great. But to go out & buy the best camera/lens/phone out there when you don't know anything about photography is foolish also.
So it goes both ways.
The best combo is skill + good gear.

Just bought it yesterday !! fantastic phone camera, only thing I see battery life even though 5400mAh battery, it seems less. But good thing is 100w charger. So nothing issue !!

Most imp for a phone user nowadys is camera and its basically for taking photos of family and friends. So colour rendering or quality of skin tones it captures or produces is the mainstay of a camera phone. Its examination in this video is missed. Ovrall great shots as captures by professionl.

Which one is better in camera (videography , photography)
For photography Vivo x100 would be better as it has bigger sensor compared to s24. For videography, s24 has 8k 30fps, x100 upto 4k 60 FPS only. 👍

I would choose Vivo x100 pro as the 1 inch sensor is better for photography. From the specs the s24 ultra has a 1/1.3 inch sensor. I haven't used the s24 yet, I l be trying and comparing it with Vivo x100 pro soon👍

Mostly Zeiss natural mode, but some color correction I did using the default Vivo editing controls.
Bro I think you have experience of photography, I request you to please make a video using vivo x100 pro to describe about pro mode for photo, video, as well as raw and super raw if available, and at last please show the cinematic video footage taken by vivo x100 pro and this video must be cinematic aspect ratio i think vivo all ready provide this aspect ratio in cinematic mode

Both can shoot good quality 4k 60 fps as well as 8k 30fps, but Vivo x100 pro has bigger sensor, so better low-light performance, photography Vivo x100 pro will excel, videos similar results👍

Previously I was using x60 pro plus, this one is slightly better. When I m using the camera battery drain a lot, but I think each software update make the performance better🙂

Continuous video recording possible for 30-40mins? or does t heat up? how much battery is consumed?
1080p would be ok I think, but 4k, it will be heated up. For around 20 minutes of video recording ( not continuous shooting) it went from 30 % to 2 %.
Please provide genuine review,, lots of people saying it overheats lot and going 42c+ degree easily within 2min of video recording, that degrade performance as well battery. If this is true, I can go for OnePlus 12
In terms of camera quality Vivo x100 pro is top notch bro, there is heating issue, but it got better after last software update.
