About this game, I guess that Mitsuka died a long time ago, but the man kidnapped Manami Koudan as he believed it was her? But she seems she wasn't quite dead because she grew up or, like it says in the beginning, her spirit was still there. She was the one that was in the "Mikey" head, as their clothes are the same, that's how I think it went, at least.

ミツカはお父さんがいつもお仕事で忙しいから一人で家で死んでいた。その後悔でお父さんの頭がおかしくなって、マイキーの衣装を使って、ミナミという子を娘の代わりとしてさらった。マイキーが時々現れてお父さんを襲う理由は多分お父さん自身の罪悪感が「自分の中にいる化け物」の幻覚を生んだのだろう。マイキーが主人公の頭を撫でていた部分はおそらくお父さんがミナミをさらったときにやった行動だからでしょう。それが自分のやった行動の一つだと、思い出させるように。そしてミツカが幽霊として警察に頭のおかしくなったお父さんの罪を報告し、この悲劇を終わらせていたのでしょう。背の高い幽霊女は多分なくなった奥さんか、それとも八尺様のカメオじゃないかな？なにせ、八尺様って子どもを神隠しにする現代妖怪って話なんですからね。そのつながりの意味合いを思わせるかもしれません。
