Just made this and it was DELICIOUS! I used almond milk instead of coconut milk, I skipped the bourbon (because I didn't have any) and I used more maple syrup as a sweetener. This was a hit for my family. Will definitely do this again :)

Thank you for the recipe. I have just finished it now. I added dates on the filling instead of the sugar. It was wonderful. Just one thing i would’ve change is to bake the crust before adding the filling, because it has raw flour taste on it. But in all thanks that was a healthy pecan pie unlike the other ones which are loaded with corn syrup and sugar.
This production is soooo pleasing! I was in Tokyo in 2001 and there were NOOOOOOOOO vegan/ vegetarian options anywhere except the Krsna temple! I so love Jan, Japanese people and Japanese food, but I had to cook in my hotel room, everything had eggs ect. Wonderful work, I'm a subscriber now! ❤️

Yes, also I recommend 10 min before the baking time finish to brush the surface of the pie with maple syrup, it will be glossy and crispy.
