If someone told me how this one was gonna finish, I wouldn’t have believed it. Man, the racing gods really know how to mess with the most cautious and respectful drivers among us….absolutely ruthless. Hopefully baseball was much better. Best of luck in Season 3 and hopefully we’ll have some good races against each other. I guarantee they’ll be clean… especially cause I won’t be keeping up with u lol
You underestimate the amount of patience I have to watch haha it might take a couple days but I don’t mind the nis series. Usually it’s a good build up to the end regardless of result.
Used your strategy last night in the 600 starting at the back and needed up p1 after 400 laps. I just started iracing 4 months ago I was pumped but had noodle arms 😂. There was 6 cautions through the whole race with a green run of 213 laps. Great event though
Sucks you got caught in that bs, some interesting folks in there. I survived that race and got 2nd by 0.010 which was pretty awesome. Good run until that happened man
Damn, that's brutal.... I admit I watched the end first to see if you'd make it all the way with 0x. I was pretty upset to lose my lead lap 0x on 398, but it's pretty upsetting to see you basically accept it at this point ):
@justinkrizenesky i think next year i will just do a hosted race that way i have a field with a wide range of speed, was pretty boring with everyone just the same through the entire run
I found during my race, shifting on entry eliminated the car getting tight not going fast, but staying in 5th saved a lap/lap and a half of fuel.

These are the type of rewards we get for being the mark martins of iRacing. Run clean and smart and sometimes the racing Gods just hate us 😂

I got caught up in a wreck on lap 200 broke my steering ended up 11 laps down in 22nd I was running 16th
Between Gavin's video and yours I'm tempted to give this a go. Will have to re-learn the car but I enjoy this track (usually).
Well that was unfortunate, felt like the video was to short. Maybe the 3 car has been playing call of duty. going through the smoke to be sneaky.
Wish they ran different era races where you could pick between the 87s, Gen4s and the new cars. All off at the same time you just pick one to run.

I had no speed, didn't need 100 more laps to know where I was going to finish, so didnt really matter

Unfortunate end, nowhere you could go. Spent so long running with it being that boring and then it all ends as soon as it's time to start racing
