I view Anu as a superviser that really doesn't care as long as things go efficiently and on time.

The Mesopotamian pantheon has been both fascinating and confusing.
Some sources describe Anu as the primary progenitor and all-father.
I've also seen a couple sources, referencing Hurrian myth, that show Alalu as the progenitor, whilst Anu remains as a primary ruler.
Doesn't help that this all relates to a set of myths that potentially predate Greek mythology.
Well that's to be expected when the Middle East was divided into many competing nations. Assirians favored Anu as supreme deity, Babylonians preferred Ishtar/Innana, the Jews worshipped Elohim/Yahweh. It's no wonder some nations highlighted one god over another. It wasn't politheism once the Babylonians came in, it was henotheism.

Anu is one of the most underrated gods he is on par in power with Ra Zeus Odin and other Sky-fathers
By his sheer age and just how much older he is then them, Anu is almost definitely the root of all 3 of them. Sumerian religion seems to be the first we've found as of yet bar the earliest tree and rock worship.

These accounts sure do paint the picture on how Abrahamic religions are continuing Mesopotamian and Sumerian tradition and practices. I imagine that Alalu is coincidentally phonetically similar to Allah, Allat and Ilah, but you never know. Subsequently, it was a great idea to continue with Middle Eastern religion and Mythology, given their relation to Christian lore. These two videos go hand-in-hand greatly.
Idk...they could be totally different at their beginning but closer to modern times they began getting similar. In the Bible many kingdoms were conquered and have assimilated Abraham’s descendants (12 tribes).

This is a very comprehensive overview of Anu. I'm very intrigued by the 'son overthrowing father via sexual indiscretion' motif, as I note the similarity Kumarbi has with Ham (Kham, חם) who was involved with a sexual indiscretion with his father Noah, who in this case is phonetically similar to Anu. Robert Alter also drew this comparison with Ham and Noah to Cronos and Uranus.

They represent aspects of Supreme Consciousness, the Consort of Matter. Matter and Consciousness are Mother and Father: Inanna and Demuzi, Shiva and Shakti, Frey and Freya etc. They are 2 sets of 3 complementary deities. Together they are the Whole: Great Mother/Brahman, Namu, Maha Devi, Magna Mater, Nerthus, Mother Nature etc. She also has been given many names.

I've heard alot of different version's of these stories .... some of which make more sense if you believe that after the first known text's "are actually infomation" rather than myth, and anything else (religious wise around the world after) is just a Bastardisation of that information after these civilization's disappeared and the people from them spread out around the world and retold the "stories".. like through word of mouth the stories become more and more convoluted....... there is something we are not acknowledging after the church took control of "religion" and bleached out all the fact's, but since indepenant scholars have gone out and looked at the evidence and put it on the internet the hundred year's old institute's rubbish any new prospective to stop them selves looking stupid ..... just a thought!

Btw, there is a being Anu along with all of his sons feared very much. The Annunaki was not one race it was four races that came down to visit the Sumerians, it is true one of the races was looking for gold and started digging for it.
The humans and the four races got along and shared many things with each other, but the good fortune would not last for the humans. The particular race that was digging for gold was known as the Draco, a few years into the digg the Draco's owen race refuse to dig any further.
Creating a dilemma for the Draco so the Draco secretly started a laboratory known to us as the Garden of Eden. For many years the dracos performed experiments on the humans trying to create the perfect slave that would digg for them.

A close friend of mine told me that over twenty five years ago. He has a degree in history. His cousin told me that he was talking about this stuff in the late 1950s. Now I know race does not matter. But he is an African American man who is 75 years old. Every so often I ask him how in the hell did he imbrace this stuff as being TRUTH. HE told me that you have to think for your self.

Back in those days those who called themselves God are what today is called a countries leader such as a president for example. Even today if you are against your leader you get removed from the equation. After thousands of years nothing has changed at all, the only thing that has changed is how powers that be gets the world to perceive.

What I'm really hearing is that people conquered their lands and people(s) and would act out somekind of succession thing like saying that Anusara own son bit off his genitals and became pregnant which is not how the world works. This story is merely one of which the One True God Anu had been succeeded by either internal conflicts as they "say happened" or exter conflicts which led to their people being subjugated by another people wanting to simply call themselves Gods etc. The choices that people can make and the ill effects caused are easy to see using the understanding of the ring and rod.
