I road out hurricane Bertha on an island called Carolina beach. It was a category 3. This man is not smart. He should have taken his family and left. This is a brand new kinda powerful storm that can kill them. The business will be ok after the storm is gone. Insurance and fema. Family first
I came down after Katrina . I love all my friends from chalmette . I miss them terrible. I hope there all safe . I'm retired and would love to head back down from Wisconsin and " Hep " again 😃. I'm praying there electric holds out. I had a trailer down end of the world. Mr. Earls property.

I don't care if you get washed away by the waves, if you're soaking wet, if it puts your life in danger. Get out there and cover this storm. Oh, and maybe try to get a shot with debris flying by you, a wave crashing over you... anything for the story. We'll be watching your coverage from the comfort of a nice safe, warm and dry place!
