why is it that BF2042 has no weapons emplacements of any kind? they even had tows in portal, it just seems stupid not to have them in AOW.
Because they decided to attach them to every vehicle in the game for some reason... They actually made their job harder for themselves trying to balance that out.
well at least we got robot dogs, scorestreaks, and every interesting gadget locked to individual characters
There could be any number of reasons and some of suggestions mentioned in other replies a strong possibilities. A few things to consider is stationary weapons tend to be considered as or similar to vehicles according to the game engine and they already have issues related to too many vehicles + players for the 128 versions of the game or version now that it's just 128 Conquest. One could also make the argument that like fewer amount of base weapons that are technically multiple weapons because of the Plus system and being able to change and swap attachments on the fly a vehicle, tank, aircraft is multiple types of because of how many weapon systems are available to them so they wanted to stick to that being the theme or design direction of the game so having stationary weapons would be counter to that idea. Either way it would have been pointless, the TOW missile in BF2042 is so bad compared to any previous version in Battlefield it wouldn't have any affect on the game or be any kind of improvement having spread around the map.

Ravic what’s ur best class setup for medic on battlefield 5?
When I did play "Medic" in BF5 it was with that bolt-action gun they added late into the game. Otherwise I avoided Medic since it became a overly selfish class in BF5.

Yo Ravic, when 2042 SRAW? even though its trash, i would like to see some clips of you using it.
It's worse than the BF2042 TOW missile. If DICE still haven't gotten around to addressing the TOW it's a waste of time to make the "SRAW" work when it's worse than the nerfed into the ground version from BF4.
@Ravic I'm convinced they're terrified of making it good enough to the point anyone who's actually remotely decent at movement predictions like you or me or others who have used these weapons for a while would just annihilate all vehicles from teams solo, or some shit. I'm convinced lmao.
@@Shyvorix Liz's TV missile was about the only thing remotely close to being useful against aircraft and they nerfed that into the ground. They most certainly are favoring vehicle mains more and more than they used to. BF4 CTE was when it seemed to have started and it hasn't been addressed since.
@Ravic Fully agreed. The preferences especially for helos is absolutely ridiculous. What blows my mind is their apparent refusal to wake up to the idea that there should be more legitimate, actually viable ways to take down choppers. Battery placements either already built or buildable around the map, a better wildcat that doesn't move slower than a fucking corpse, etc. I t1'd the choppers in 2042 and stopped playing them basically because it gets super stale super fast to play vehicles and dominate when few things pose a challenge while in said vehicles. The bias sucks...
@@Shyvorix There are a ton of ways to balance out the aircraft that don't make them useless or not fun to use but DICE refuses to do any of them. Vehicle mains claim the victim card even though they've never been this strong in a Battlefield game before so it's a pretty unfun time for anyone who is used to how Battlefield usually played. The real problem I see in the future is DICE have two options with the next Battlefield game. Either continue the power creep for vehicles and make them stronger like they've been doing with each recent Battlefield title or do a complete reset across the board. With the first option it'll be so bad that no one will ever want to run infantry so it'll be a pretty low pop game. The second option is something they should have done three titles ago where it wouldn't have been as drastic as an adjustment for vehicle players. Doing a full reset now those players won't be able to handle it and will cry to the ends of the earth. It's why vehicle mains now refuse to try and get them balanced because they could never do the things they do in BF2042 with games like BC2, BF3, or BF4.

Man, I just downloaded Battlefield 1 and nobody is playing. There are basically 10 servers online, and most of them are European.
Time to download Battlefield V instead... I already had both, just decided to reinstall today

Considering this game was free quite a few times probably, I have no idea though.
Ever since bf1 AA have been a menace to air gameplay. The flak guns are so strong just one clipping all the planes. Can't escape it because of proxy so didn't need the best aim. And the abundance of AA placements/ AA vehicles. Ruined flying.
And yet AA have rarely been an issue against bombers and attack aircraft
I agree there needs to be some balance but you guys should never have full control of the of the game like you do now
