Working on a 873 bobcat wheel loader my right side sounds like it’s cavitating when you go from forward to reverse especially at high rpm the left side is very responsive and working normally and lift and tilt ok I haven’t changed the case drain filter or hydraulic filter yet because my problem is isolated on right side only just wondering if I have a flow problem to right motor from hydraulic pump or just a drive motor problem if any ideas I would appreciate it thanks
We do have one video on this from a few years ago: ua-cam.com/video/8-mJSTVWUng/v-deo.html We do recommend using plastic interior wedge tools instead of metal ones to prevent scratching the surface of the face seal and/or damaging the o-ring. Hope that helps! Call us if you'd like a quote on a reman drive: 888-934-6257
hey i made this video ua-cam.com/video/IC-wniWgW1A/v-deo.htmlm30s and in the video u can hear some weird sound, can this be caused by a clogged case drain filter? I did open one of the hydraulic motors up and ended up changing the seals inside because 2 seals were completely destroyed. But noise is still there. It has plenty of power, spins tires on tarmac, 1998 bobcat if i recall. Or is it normal?

Will a dirty or clogged case drain filter cause one of the final drives to stop working?
What if I have some metal shavings in the filter but no where near as much as you had on that bad filter?
Do you have any videos on replacing the face seals? Or do you have any pointers?

I have an 08 bobcat t320, runs good but driving it likes to hop and make the engine rpm be inconsistent. Any thoughts?
We're not sure what's wrong, but it doesn't sound like a final drive problem. Good luck!

How often should I check the case drain filter?
It needs to be checked/replaced every time the other filters are replaced
