I know these are a few years old, but I just found your videos a week ago and have been binge watching them. I always thought I was organized and have some systems in place that work for me. A few are similar to yours but now I'm going to follow your suggestions and ideas and spruce up what I got going on in my apartment. I just don't have some of the space you do but that entrance closet is a definite DO I can copy! Thanks!!
This video is so awesome, and comes just in time for the winter! My coat closet has been driving me nuts. I am definitely going to utilize all of your "back of the door" tips. I especially loved the door pocket, and the reusable bag ideas. I have been wondering what to do with my reusable bags for awhile now. They are just shoved in the back of one of my cabinets! Thanks for being you and doing what you do!

I love that hanger strip for the top of the door frame. I hang clothes from my door frames in the winter to help them dry quicker

i am so glad i watched this video. We are moving into our first house; lots of living space but not as much storage space. This helps me greatly on how I can maximize space in the closets! love it.

Alejandra, you have resolved yet another issue for me with your dedicated hooks. I love my over-the-door hook (two rows of five hooks designed with longer & shorter hooks) & use it for hanging up damp coats, scarves, umbrellas, shopping bags, etc. But, I get frustrated when trying to get at things that beneath others. I'm going to follow your lead with dedicated hooks for umbrellas, storage bags, etc.
Excellent ideas! I'm going to use the reuseable grocery bags idea, thank you! And the possibly the dry cleaning bag. Just loving the video. My front hall closet is also my cleaning closet, so I'm trying to lol fix that. And what's amazing is I got an idea lol on something in my hall closet that is unrelated to this video lol, how to use something extra in there elsewhere.

I love your videos and have recently been looking at some of your older videos for more ideas. I live in an apt. so I have much less space; for example the bottom (sides & back as well) of my coat closet has boxes, so even though I Love the idea of drawers below I have no space for them. I also cannot close closets if I put over the door hooks. I might try some command hooks for the shoe pockets, just for light stuff. I wish you did apt organization videos.
LOVE this closet...and those drawers are awesome. May look into getting those! Great for kids so they can reach their winter gear (Mine is currently on the top shelf of closer). Love your videos as always :)

besides it gave me a lot of ideas on "what to store together" cause I have my scarves away from my coats and this helped me realize some things can be together despite the seasons :)

I didn't know. Why didn't UA-cam recommend your channel to me sooner? I wish UA-cam would provide me with more good viewing recommendations such as this channel. Love the hook for the hinge! So much less intrusive than a coat rack in a house where my husband won't hang up a jacket in the winter and they stay on the dining room chair! :(

This is great. The only thing I need to complete my coat closet is the handy set of drawers for the gloves and such. Thx for sharing this video. I was blessed with loving organization when I was a child, and thankfully it has stayed with me into adulthood.

Thank you!! That never even crossed my mind to put the coats on the left side being a lefty! I actually do a lot of things right-handed despite writing left-handed. All sports are always right-handed- it's kinda weird ;)

Hi Thanks for sharing this video. I am slowly trying to organize my front closet that is very small. I like all your suggestions and have used the command hooks on the side of the wall and I put 2 of the plastic 3 drawer containers and labeled them. I also am going to use the plastic shoe storage but might put that on the other wall where there is space. Thanks I really do like this video.

Love this! YOU GAVE ME GREAT IDEAS!! I was wondering wear your shoes are. We have the same closet but I tend to store the shoes on the bottom (no mudroom or outdoor space) so I switch out summer and winter when the seasons change. Any suggestions with shoes...family of four (2 boy, a hubby and myself! aka, sneaker and boot overload)

You gave me some wonderful ideas for organizing my coat closet! I like the clip above the door. I hang clothes from the top of the door and they fall on the floor if someone walks by. Drives me nuts! Did you get the clip at the Container Store?

I only use my front hall closet for guests so only a bin, 2 hangers and a shoe rack. We keep our coats and shoes in our closets with our other coats and shoes in our rooms.

Hello Alejandra! I was wondering if you would do a video on ways to keep your car organized with small children and possibly another video on a laundry routine (washing and ironing) that will keep dirty clothes from piling up. I like to iron and hang my clothes as soon as they're done drying but it seems so time consuming and if I'm not careful my dirty laundry can quickly get out of control.
