I definitely understand what you are saying about feeling like you belong. I tattoo people all the time but outside of peopling, you guys here on UA-cam are the people I feel like I fit most with because most people don't enjoy this hobby the same way another dolly person does. She is adorable. That's so sad that you never got a baby shower at work. I know what you mean about it being harder to make friends and fit in as we age. I don't think I was an introvert in the past, but I have definitely turned into one. I think that is why this hobby is so special. We are all here for each other.

Yes it just sucks when you try to make friends ( invite people to things etc) and its just not reciprocated, I dont know why! This hobby is super special, I love it!

I love that you are putting yourself out there, hon. You are not alone, I've had the same thing happen to me. I know how painful it is 😢. I was a branch manager of a finance company and I would decorate my co-workers desk if it was there birthday, I never had anyone do that for me, they would get together weekly to play a game and I was never invited. I no longer feel 💔 because I have Jesus with me and I am never alone And I've got all my beautiful UA-cam friends.
