I wouldn’t want to give her up either. She’s a lovely silicone. I think at times we feel guilty doing things for ourselves because we are constantly thinking about the needs/wants of our family. I can never spend money, especially a large amount, on myself without feeling immediately guilty because of how that money could have been spent on others. BUT, as my husband reminds me, I’m a part of the family and I deserve to have nice things the same way I feel him and my kids deserve to have nice things. So I try to remind myself that my happiness is important too; and as long as my family isn’t actively suffering, it’s ok to spoil myself a little sometimes too. 🙂
