In my opinion in 1.6 we would see actually Pulchra who join to Sons of Calydon as leaks said if not expand of Astra's faction. ( or half and half, first phase new character to Astra's faction then in second Pulchra)

They're was a name of a group that was mentioned in i think the Astra trailer. Could be related to the Idols. They're quite a few characters that "need" to be released at some point like Pulchra, Bug Daddy, the Orangutan and Soldier 11's squad. I wouldn't be suprised if they decided to introduce a new group, and then a character we know as the pattern for release until we catch up with all the characters that "need" to become playable units

Soldier 11 is connected with Anby and they didnt meet yet, but also we need some big events to actually obol squad which is like a army would be involved with proxy. So I would bet for expand existing factions till 2.0, like Pulchra, but also Astra's faction. We don't know even if Hoyo actually plan to release 1.7 or even 1.6 or just goes to 2.0, because 1.8 is VERY unlikely compare to patches in genshin/hsr.

I skipped Ellen and Zhu Yuan in the beginning, now I think I'll get them both and skip Astra and Evelyn. They need to be really good to make me change my mind! I got Qingyi and I really miss Zhu Yuan since we don't got any other ether dps. Ellen and Zhu Yuan still kicking butts!
Ellen is nice, but... Miyabi really powercreeped her even with best comp for ellen which is worst for Miyabi, Lyacon/Soukaku, Fox is still much better than her. 😭But also there is some leaks we can get skin for Ellen in 1.5... 🤔
trust the first 5 star support will be absolutely broken if caesar who isn't specifically a "support" character is already broken. plus, astra is ether and that's the rarest element at the moment

Like in Deadly Assault where 2 both the Bringer and the Twins are weak to ice 😁 Ellen still a great dps overall, and I think she's fun to play, got nice voicelines, I also like Lycaon playstyle with the kicks and everything. Miyabi is freakin insane, but she don't got that personality in battle plus just slashes everywhere, u feel me?
My Zhu Qingyi Nicole team is still my go-to to clear anything I'm struggling with. For me its still the easiest and most fun team to play, even over Miyabi. Just spam Qingyi and use all her i-frames to avoid any damage, then unload Zhu during the stun window. You won't be disappointed with getting Zhu Yuan for sure.
@@vsadhsa In the end you should just pick up character that you like by story or just visual effects, bosses will reset anyway ( I wouldn't be suprised if they would add fire/ether weakness in next rotation) like shiyu defense, but the most important is fun from the game, not only blindly fomo and it's not like that you are locked in content becuase of different characters, it will just takes some more time, but still able to take all rewards and gameplay will be funnier with character that you like.
1.5 will destroy me... four characters that I would all like to pull for... I'll go into it with around 50k poly but that's nowhere near enough to secure all four. Hugo is not new btw. he's been introduced in Lycaon's lore shown during his agent story iirc. there's also been another name drop: Vivian. but absolutely nothing else known about her. I expect 1.6 to be the idols patch (two of them being S rank, one A rank) and 1.7 most likely a Victoria Housekeeping patch.

I won't be pulling at all for the rest of Season 1. My plan is to enter Season 2 loaded with polychrome and build a new team for the new season. 1.5 and 1.6 might be a lot of fun to play, I look forward to the story. But beyond that and doing my daily stuff I'm going to be mostly taking a break until the next season starts. No grinding for me. No worrying about getting a perfect Deadly Assault score or whatever else.
I plan to pull Astra and save the rest for Qinqyi and Caesar. Evelyn's design appeals to me greatly, but I failed to get Lighter and don't have Koleda yet.
I thought we'd be getting Hugo in 1.6 not 1.7. They teased astra in that event in 1.3 and we're getting her in 1.5. Now they've teased Hugo through the bangboo td event in 1.4 so I thought he might be coming 1.6

@@waifuhunter2302 I have seen the leak and it is far from a confirmation. Similar kind of data that told us stuff about Pulchra months ago. (one leak had Pulchra as a Cunning Hare as a place holder, seems like that's the default faction) Not that I doubt the leaker, but some of this data in the game is just placeholders for Hoyo. A line in the data is a clue not a confirmation.
Astra was nerfed in the last patch instead of 30% dmg increase down to 20% and 30% crit dmg, anomaly got nerfed(Miyabi excluded), attackers buffed a bit, attack is 1200 now, energy for assist massively nerfed as well both the energy needed to trigger it by astra, and hard reduction in the amount of energy she gives to the next unit, i think it was like 4-7 and now its like 1.5 to 2.5 witch is very meh, this again is a huge nerf for anomaly then again same for attackers but they dont have such a huge spike in dmg from ex's, maybe you can get an ex extra per fight depending on how high the cost is, essentially she's still better then A ranks but not in the "must pull" value category anymore, unless you need healing cause you get hit a lot, still after seeing her gameplay and how active it is, i kinda want her cause it looks fun to do alot of quick assists, then again maybe it is annoying to keep doing after a while lol
Astra is the second character who, as soon as I saw her, I had already made up in my mind that I am pulling. The first was Caesar, so I guess I’m drawn to “support” characters lmao. Not sure if I’ll fully skip Evelyn or not because, on one hand, I would like a fire DPS, but on the other, she’s not necessary for any of my current team lineups. I’m probably skipping the entire idol faction though, so there wouldn’t be any harm in trying to get Evelyn. Speaking of the idol faction, I still don’t understand the hype. Their designs just don’t vibe with me… they’ve got too much going on visually, definitely a bit jarring compared to the rest of the cast. I may try a few 10 pulls on Yutane, but that’s only if I don’t pull on any rerun characters.
The community might attack me for saying this, but to me the idols will be the dark age of the game to me, i don't like their designs at all, it's just 3 cutesy lolis, yutane is the only one i might pull, i enjoy the "grown up" designs a lot more, Zhu yuan, Yanagi, Miyabi, Jane, Caesar, evelyn... and so goes on, yeah, you can say it's gooner bait, but i don't care, i think they have great designs and look very mature, but the idols are very hyped, so... yeah...

That's the point - you won't have enough pulls for 4 characters as f2p, max is 2 (not always) but you need to win 50/50. That's gacha, you need to be a whale if not - you need to choose what character you want to pull, and if you wants 2 in same patch then you need to leave their weapons.

I'm not even gonna bother with getting mindscape 2 for her that would be what another 600 pulls F that noise. Astra was nerfed in the last patch instead of 30% dmg increase down to 20% and 30% crit dmg, anomaly got nerfed(Miyabi excluded), attackers buffed a bit, attack is 1200 now, energy for assist massively nerfed as well both the energy needed to trigger it by astra, and hard reduction in the amount of energy she gives to the next unit, i think it was like 4-7 and now its like 1.5 to 2.5 witch is very meh, this again is a huge nerf for anomaly then again same for attackers but they dont have such a huge spike in dmg from ex's, maybe you can get an ex extra per fight depending on how high the cost is, essentially she's still better then A ranks but not in the "must pull" value category anymore, unless you need healing cause you get hit a lot, still after seeing her gameplay and how active it is, i kinda want her cause it looks fun to do alot of quick assists, then again maybe it is annoying to keep doing after a while lol

Astra is the second character who, as soon as I saw her, I had already made up in my mind that I am pulling. The first was Caesar, so I guess I’m drawn to “support” characters lmao. Not sure if I’ll fully skip Evelyn or not because, on one hand, I would like a fire DPS, but on the other, she’s not necessary for any of my current team lineups. I’m probably skipping the entire idol faction though, so there wouldn’t be any harm in trying to get Evelyn.
Speaking of the idol faction, I still don’t understand the hype. Their designs just don’t vibe with me… they’ve got too much going on visually, definitely a bit jarring compared to the rest of the cast. I may try a few 10 pulls on Yutane, but that’s only if I don’t pull on any rerun characters.

The community might attack me for saying this, but to me the idols will be the dark age of the game to me, i don't like their designs at all, it's just 3 cutesy lolis, yutane is the only one i might pull, i enjoy the "grown up" designs a lot more, Zhu yuan, Yanagi, Miyabi, Jane, Caesar, evelyn... and so goes on, yeah, you can say it's gooner bait, but i don't care, i think they have great designs and look very mature, but the idols are very hyped, so... yeah...

They feel like a slice of life vibes that fit a niche in the community, I think they look lovely and fun and Nicole's new skin fits that too. ZZZ already made them stand out from everyone else and hyped them up for a while so I'm saving for either 3, prob the robot. The most iconic hoyo characters have always been the petite women it seems

And I'm not really an enjoyer of how male characters look in this game, lighter, Lycaon and Ben look really cool, but 2 of these are furries, I think harumasa is very bland and Hugo from what little we saw him doesn't look much better
I'm personally undecided on the idols, I think I'd have to see them in the game and get a better understanding of their personalities before I decide if I like them or not

That's the point - you won't have enough pulls for 4 characters as f2p, max is 2 (not always) but you need to win 50/50. That's gacha, you need to be a whale if not - you need to choose what character you want to pull, and if you wants 2 in same patch then you need to leave their weapons.

yeah 20000 polychromes and you need 60000 to actually get Miyabi and her W-Engine, I had to do 300 pulls to get Miyabi and another 160 to get her W-Engine so yeah. I'm not even gonna bother with getting mindscape 2 for her that would be what another 600 pulls F that noise.
