Right like he always exposing himself that he's just a casual fan, he has a good work ethic and consistently puts out videos with above average quality so I get why people watch his videos, even I do every now and then but very rarely because he clearly doesn't know shit about football he's as casual a fan as they come he just does this to pay his bills so of course he spends alot of time doing homework on his videos he makes. Who wouldn't though, let me see.. work 40+ hours a week breaking your back for barely any money.. or making youtube videos from your house that pay you very well based on the views of little kids who don't know any better. . Dude doesn't know shit about football you can tell by what he says in his videos that either he just started watching football or he just has been a casual fan his whole life and watched the game here and there but now he does his homework on websites reading articles, watching other youtubers speak on the game, etc.

This was told admirably & humorously & in some exasperated moments, I had to laugh myself, just because I used to LIKE football, (& baseball & basketball) growing up in Vick’s old team’s hometown. Sportsmanship apparently means less than dirt in ‘24. But it’s NICE to hear a brief bio as narrated by someone who, somehow, still respects the game!
What I cannot possibly laugh about, though, is the absolute obvious social imprisonment of anybody surnamed “Vick.”
WHO, specifically, besides their stepdad, ever mentored these young men?? Has either of them ever been examined for CTE or for any other concussion-related conditions? NEITHER of them seems to have EVER MET an individual NOT using them both as cash cows, as wagons to hitch themselves onto & as “properties” to exploit, to rip-off, to abuse, in some manner or the other.
I understand a little something about Sports as some hometown’s “industry,” as Entertainment, & as an actual vocation for (mostly, STILL) poor individuals with very little academic acumen-from which major franchises to THIS DAY, are still recruiting, scouting, & reeling-in “the talent” 100 years after Cy Young, Babe Ruth, Ty Cobb, & Satchel Paige got their starts.
As comically-told as this story is, and as idiotically as both Vick men may conduct their lives & their business-dealings, when compared against Others of superior caste, who (almost) always have their lives “turned around” FOR them by some benevolent-minded “angelic savior” stepping-in to refuse to let THEM go down like that, where’s the Vicks’ saving superwoman or superman?? And WHAT on Earth are they waiting for?!?
I’m not talking about individual “accountability & responsibility.” That’s just down to individuals & is NEVER a completed depiction of events over an arc of decades.
There is NOTHING they’ve done to have “deserved” NO seriously conscientious intervention-not enabling & abetting dysfunction.
Yet all they’ve ever experienced, according to their own accounts as read by me-not as has apparently occurred to EITHER of them-are sharks, circling all around them, in every quarter of their personal contact, with their hands/flipper-fins STUCK OUT for money!!
Absurd! Almost impossible, in The NFL of today, with all of its majestical magnitude ruling over so many people’s lives & wallets. Never “just works-out this way” for managers, executives, owners. They’re NEVER without “respectability” & access to vetted, vaunted, highly-recommended support, help, advancements.
YET, knowing the impoverishment from which they’ve culled their “ownerships,” KNOWING these men & in some cases, women in off-field roles, have specific disadvantages going-in, they have put NOTHING substantial in-place to prevent harmful and malicious-minded trolling swindlers from slipping in their talons & draining them DRY.
It wouldn’t have cost them a DIME to have had mentorship (NOT just some coaches) already intact & ready to roll-out as soon as these young people sign some contract.
Or within the colleges’ structured academics programs to PREVENT the insanity, the conning, the hustling & grifting they KNOW these kids are up against!! Paying a 17-yr-old $3M for marijuana & some WHAT “anytime she wanted it!!”
This leads me to conclude what every “recruit” ought to be seriously truthfully-educated to suspect & to surmise: the grifters kick-back something TO the franchise owners OR they’re all in on the SCAM together, in silent partnership, in cahoots, in collusion. These local hoodlums & scammers, grifters & bloodsuckers aren’t “unknown” & “without record” within law enforcement. WHY aren’t any of these hangers-on & leeches who wind their ways into players’ pockets checked-out BY the teams, especially teams that are more like an army platoon??
BECAUSE these “communities” fundamentally resent the very idea of paying “those people” anything. It’s not that they want what they (THINK the athletes) “have,” it’s just that they don’t want THEM to have it.
Obviously, in the Vick brothers’ case, it’s a very logical & reasonable conclusion. It SHOULD be codified into every player’s playbook & so should the Vicks’ results be-as object lessons on what should NEVER be done & who should NEVER be contacted by ANY Nonwhite & underprivileged athlete or entertainer-no matter “how entertaining” they are being misled to believe it is.
Really, the only dynamic that ever existed between them & the NFL & VirginiaTech, the only arrangements made possible BY the NFL & VaTech, & in ALL systemic relationships, ultimately, were & are STILL all tacky, trashy, terroristic, & tragic in ‘24-by systemic design. ⚖️🌱🍀🌸🍀🌸🍀

I used to love playin with Virginia Tech on NCAA football 2004. Just because of Marcus Vick. Oklahoma Sooners was my #1 team to play with on dynasty mode. But if I'm tryin to beat my friends.... It was Virginia Tech. Marcus Vick just couldn't get out of his own way. I'm sure he was given every opportunity at Virginia Tech because of his last name and he did have talent. Not to mention he wasn't some struggling broke guy in college... From what I understand his brother took pretty good care of him financially. All he had to do was focus on school and football and stay out of trouble. I will always think about the talent that he could have been. Dude just couldn't stop stepping on his own pecker
