Thank you. All very good points. Your review helped me to decide on this one. For those asking. You can purchase direct from the company or via Amazon. Its the same price on both sites.
You will love it. Just remember not to hold your yarn too tight so that the yarn stretches. That can mess up your gauge no matter what you're doing with it. :-)
I had a cheap plastic one which worked well for scraps, but it died a terrible death very quickly after several repair jobs of the plastic pieces when I tried winding leftovers greater than the recommended amount of yarn. This one is fabulously sturdy, BUT - it’s soooo loud. I also have a hard time with the long arm flopping about a bit no matter how tight I secured the bolt, but that’s clearly user error, since I’ve never heard anyone else complain about it. I’ll have to get my brute man to tighten it for me to see if it’ll help. I definitely prefer this one to the plastic!
I lay a piece of felt down instead of a bare table. That seems to help with the sound. Also, the long arm, switch the location of the washer. After I did that I've never had a problem. And don't let the tension of yarn become tight. I hold mine to make sure the tension stays nice and loose.
Thank you so much for your advices, I was just thinking what kind of yarn winder i should buy, so I watched your video and it help me a lot. "U-nitt Metal Jumbo Yarn Winder" I got it, Have a wonderful day!!!

My grandkids used to fight over who got to wind yarn for me in the mornings, before they got on the bus for school. Great mornings!
That DOES sound wonderful. Did you make them take turns?
I just got into doing loom knitting and just purchased one similar to yours.
