Actually, the DVD Deep Note was heard on quite a few LaserDiscs on their Dolby Digital and DTS soundtracks. Here are some of the ones we know of so far that use the DVD Deep Note on their Dolby Digital and DTS tracks: Congo (1996 Japanese Release) Mission: Impossible Apollo 13 (DTS release) Casper (DTS release) The Hunt for Red October The Godfather The Hunchback of Notre Dame (Deluxe CAV Widescreen Edition) Sleeping Beauty Men in Black Speed (1997 Japanese Release) Apollo 13 (Japanese DTS Release) Alien 3 (1998 Japanese Release) Star Wars: The Phantom Menace (Japanese Release) Star Wars Trilogy (2000 Japanese Release) The Rock (Japanese Release) Tenchi Muyou! in Love (Japanese Release) Terminator 2: Judgment Day (1998 Japanese Release) Tenchi Muyou! Ryo-oh-ki (Japanese Release, this is also on the PCM and Stereo tracks)
That would be the Deep Note pitch we've heard on DVD releases, but not many people know that it was also heard on some LaserDiscs with Dolby Digital and DTS audio. Some earlier LaserDiscs with Dolby Surround AC-3 Digital audio, as well as the Dolby Digital soundtrack on the LaserDisc release of "The Game" use the theatrical Deep Note pitch.
One of Tony Scott’s best movies. Best of the Scott&Denzel collaboration.
Amen to that
I hope to get this exact release sometime, my favorite Tony Scott movie of all time.
Is this the DTS track or the Analog Stereo track?
Still DTS run through a digital to analog converter.
So it’s the DTS track then
You don't happen to have an AC-3 demodulator, do you?@@thehallowayboys

Did you know there is a DVD that has the THX logo shown first and then the DTS logo after?
What DVD would that be?
@@Spacerangershack oh, Terminator 2: Judgement Day, 2003 DVD, the Japanese print published by Pioneer.
0:47 LOW TONE!!!!

DTS analogs convert to an audio connecter on AC -3 input that makes the THX Logo DVD Pitched as far as I know
