18-year-old Michael Adams disappeared from Abilene, Texas on June 8, 1987 shortly after arriving home from work.
Rumors and speculation swirl around the well-liked Cooper High School graduate, who was a drummer in the CHS Marching Band.
Mike was just weeks away from leaving Abilene for Texas Tech University in Lubbock.

This case still makes me so sad. I wish answers would be found for his family. He was a good kid. I worked with him that night. I remember being so shocked the next day when I was told he was missing. That just wasn't something that happened in our town. And it definitely didn't seem to be his character to run away. I think there were people that worked there that knew what happened and possibly were involved, but I have no proof. So sad.
