The song "Jaycee Lee" was recently showcased on E! Investigates - Kidnapping of Jaycee Dugard.
Jaycee Dugard is still missing since she was kidnapped by a man driving a 2-door car and a female passenger early last summer just outside their home in South Lake Tahoe, California.
This is a montage of the news clips from a few weeks ago. It features archival footage from the four news network affiliates located in Reno, Nevada . . . KTVN (CBS), KOLO (ABC), KRNV (NBC) and KAME (FOX). Their coverage details the JAYCEE LEE recording project in hopes of finding her. She is still missing and has been missing since early last summer on her way to catch the school bus.
This song, which became the "official" song of the search effort, gave a significant public awareness boost and revitalization to this 8 month old news story.
The song JAYCEE LEE (by Perfect Circle) is now available for download on iTunes and at Amazon.com. All proceeds go to benefit the Jaycee Dugard Trust Fund. In re-release - its purpose now is to uplift hearts, increase public awareness and move people to become involved both emotionally and actively (through donations to the Jaycee Dugard Trust Fund).
