My mother was named after her Aunt; I was named after my Mother & her Aunt; & my niece was named after me, her Grandmother (my Mother) & my Mother’s Aunt.

I had my twins in 1998 i named my girl Kylie and my boy Thomas, Thomas after my dad the most bravest man i know sadly he passed away 3 days after their second birthday, i so happy i gave him his grandads name

I asked my daughter to please name my grandson after her great grandfather. He was the nicest person in the whole family that welcomed me when I married my wife. So his name is Cameron Joseph. His Great Great Great grandfathers name was Vestus Joseph. Although his Great Great Great grandfather many years before Cam was born. His Great Great Great Grandmother lived long enough to see Cam named after her husband. Sadly she passed away at 99 6 months later.

I have no objection to grandchildren being named after their grandparents as long as the names aren't Agnes or Herman!
