Senator Paterson joined Tom Connell to discuss press freedom, Sky's Bad Blood documentary, as well as the Israel Folau saga and religious freedom.

On point senator...... we islanders have been living amongst you guys for over 70yrs and we have always been church going Christians. If not for the bible, I personally would crack anyone who I disagree with in the mouth.

I simply reject the fact that Rugby Australia will lose sponsorship from Taxpayers (i.e. Government based sponsorship) if they decide to allow Folau to keep his contract and play for Australia. Why are our dollars involved in the first place? I thought Rugby Australia was a private organisation, but it goes to show the Cabal are calling the shots.
I wont be flying Quantas or Emirates in the future.

There must be a ton of case law about employers discriminating against religious people. Especially cases involving religions other than Christianity and juxtapose these against the treatment of Israel Folau.

Yeah mate. I watch a number of pro-atheist channels and quite often get fed some Christian commercial. I just let it play out while I get a cup of coffee. Knowing some church's money is bank rolling an atheist channel is oddly satisfying.

Freedom of speech thankfully doesn’t apply, when it comes to libel and defamation or hate speech. His case is a lost cause and I hope they sue him after for bringing the game into disrepute!
Define hate speech? More like speech you hate. He hadn't defamed anyone specially. Unless his contract has clauses on what he can state on a twitter account than he has no leg to stand on.
