I live in Portland and it’s kind of trippy to see you going to so many places I see all the time 😅 also, I just painted my nails nearly the same color, making things even weirder. Cape Disappointment is so underrated.

I'm photographing almost my entire life and I hate to admit it but I suck at forrest photos. The high contrast between shadows and sun coming through the branches is always killing me. You make it in both, video and analog photography, look like it's the most easy thing ever. Would really love a video about how you approach difficult lighting. I know you did the metering video but I watched it and I still suck.

It is dependant on your chosen film's dynamic range. Slide film is very bad at it, while Cinestill 800T that Jason uses has a very wide DR.

If you're looking for a video topic how about doing something where you explain your thinking/process around the concepts of "keepers" verses "portfolio" shots. Random point, I'm only three minutes in, but those Canons are interesting. I have one. The WP-1 is "weatherproof" as there were some differences in manufacturing which lead to it not being properly waterproof - however the AS-1 that I have is a fully underwater camera. A thing you can do with these is unscrew the "camera" inside the housing and test, I think its four screws, can't remember but can send you a gram video of how to remove it. Then you can dunk the housing underwater and see if it leaks. Anyway, on-wards.
