Appalachian Express Mountain Coaster (POV) - Camelback Mountain Adventures

Appalachian Express Mountain Coaster is an alpine coaster by the Aquatic Development Group (ADG) which has operated at Camelback Mountain Adventures in Tannersville, Pennsylvania since 2012. Video features off-ride footage and a complete POV filmed with Pivothead sunglasses in 2017.

It was a scream! Off-ride is usually quite hard to get as most of the track is hidden from view.

This ride had some scare factors. Going around the bends is the scariest part when you go top speed.

I went on this over the weekend and thought I was going to fall out because it was going so fast in the rain. did anyone else have this experience and you also were not able to control the speed at all until the end breaking before you got into the station

No it cannot derail - the cars are slotted into the track so it's fine to run full speed providing you have a clear run ahead of you

They all have brakes...it's up to the rider whether you use them on the way down!
