- well a bullshit qualifying lap , i barely went over the line like all the sprint drivers do and i got d'q'd so i had to race like a battering ram and they braked wayy early and i got suspension damage on the right front and couldnt go any higher on the final restart and it would not turn either

You have good potential to be a great Road course racer on here. I am pretty good myself, not bragging, but I beat a driver online while startin gfrom the back. all i did was drove hard and didn't hit the wall much.

Thats not brking early , thats you braking late. Ive done that before and If there were no cars there and you were going that speed into turn 1 , you would be right next to the outside wall off track
You didn't "have to" race like a battering ram. Ever hear of The Accordion Effect, that's what happened. What you need to do is pick a line, you're going to be braking way early into the corner as a result of being at the back and that's going to allow you to rocket out on exit like you're shot out of a cannon. But you're too busy being frustrated to think about it. You did the same thing at Sonoma, you don't have to go charging through, learn some racing strategy instead of being all pissy.

If they ever fix the damage model your in a lot of trouble racing that way. I know I've been saved by the lack of damage on the game a few times (I'm running hard with full flags and damage) because 8 out of 10 wrecks I've been in did no damage which I wish they did so it felt a bit more real.
He can't even get passed the first turn without a caution. lol. Not hating I am actually enjoying this and I would prob do the same.

hey i noticed something on an infineon race, i fini9shed 1st did the burnout but at the end it said something like this at the top of the race over menu:
Race over: 6th
Does that mean i finished sixth b/c i may or may not have passed 20 times below the line XD I guess it doesnt matter i got the points lead anyway

also find it difficult to qualify here without getting a dq, very dumb. AI difficulty is way too different between easy and hard. With easy, you can lap the field in 5 laps, and hard on most tracks you finish maybe a position ahead of where you started. Very inconsistent.
