The first tournament of the year and I came out with a 3rd place finish. I was happy with the 3rd place but I thought I had 2nd place. But I will take 3rd for the first tournament of the year my first time on the St. John's River. I hope you enjoy the video and thanks for watching.

Nice job. My strategy was always to get that limit no matter how small you have to go. Maybe hit that first hour power fishing and then slow down and do what you do best. You've got the rest of the day to upgrade. That stragedy didn't get me a whole lot of wins, but I was there for the championship at the end of the year

I’m fishing a bass nation tournament April first and 2nd what do you suggest I do?

Will with that tournament being the first time I ever fished there. I ready can’t say more that will mean anything but if I was fishing there there the first of April I would be throwing popping frogs, horn told frogs and speed worm in the lily pads. I did not go to any of the lakes. So that is what I would do.

I thought you had 2nd. I thought those guys said they had a 5 and a 6 that's only 11lb you had 12.1 🤷‍♂️

It was two different guys but they told me that I had beat them so I was thinking I was in second. But I checked them weights after the tournament and I had 12.1 and they had 12.8. It all good just have to do better next time.

@@gadawgs8911 there is another start up trail call UVI the fishing Lanier a lot. They are going to have a tournament on Lanier on the 18th of this month but they don’t not have a Facebook or a web site. We know about the tournament by word of mouth. They are open also. I need to find out it they are going to put out a schedule.
