I just did mine but I was afraid to tighten so much it kept turning , will the plugs stop when they are tight or will they bottom out and stop when there is no more to turn? Boots are flush with the engine pushed down and snapped.

Gonna give you a tip for your food plot next season. After deer season around February go disc your food plots up and plant Crimson clover. It has to be Crimson. Let it grow until it's at full bloom late summer. Go back and disc it under while in bloom. It will put high nitrogen level into the ground and you'll not need any fertilize for next year's food plot and it will grow like you won't believe!!! PS i disagree on the corn thing. It's no different than a pearl tree,apple tree or food plot you just planted. It all is used to attract deer to harvest. The food plot is there at night also. 🤷‍♂️

Umm, you installed the seal backwards, open spring side facing in on the inner seal, then the spring side facing out on the outer seal, they call it back to back when in installing the seals, thats why it is leaking, and leave a gap between the two seals, the should not be touching one another. outseal should be slighting below flush of seal casing.

Say what you want about Polaris but this is why the sportsman rides so smooth.

Thank you for sharing your time, knowledge and experience. I have watched several of your videos and I must say they are well done and that I have enjoyed and learned a lot from from them. Will be doing quite a bit of maintenance on my 2004 Sportsman 700 in the next few days with replacing all 4 axles, bushings, fuel pump and fuel lines and lubricants. Good luck this season. This will be the first time in my 47 years that I have no where to hunt. The landowners decided to lease to somebody else for reasons we can't figure out. A lot of hard work down the drain for sure. I guess I'll be fishing some this fall.

The lime worked well for you. The soil also makes a big difference if you have a looser soil such as sand it will take less (40 lbs per 1k sq feet) you would need to double that amount if you have clay. On your initial soil test you had very low phosphorus which can happen with acidic soil. When you fertilize make sure you get a high phosphorus fertilizer ( some states it is illegal)
