I agree. Not every song needs to have some deep meaning, and this song was fun and upbeat! Now Uncanny Valley, one of the tracks from Avi's EP, has a great deeper meaning!
Avi said this EP is a combination of his love of the organic with a more modern tech touch.

He said in an interview I watched (from a VIP q & a session someone posted online) that a portion of the reason that he wrote some of the more recent songs was because it is nice, in concert, to have some upbeat more chant-like songs to bring the energy up. I have never been a huge fan of repetition either. I still love the songs, but they don't move me the same. They are great as a life soundtrack (good cleaning the house music).

Avi said that this EP was him trying something out of his comfort zone. The other two songs left on the EP are love songs, audio only. He is doing a show in Nashville at the Eastside Bowl on June 16th, in case you are interested.

In performing this song on his current tour, Avi does an intro (as he also does with a couple of other songs) of the Ray Charles standard "I've Got a Woman" (assisted by Michael Alvarado), changing up the vibe considerably from the original. ua-cam.com/video/h9slw-S-ibM/v-deo.html (I do agree about the repetition. I've never been a fan of excessive repetition, and while I'm a big Avi-cionado, he does sometimes overdo it with repetition.)
