I truly appreciate this video because I REALLY didn't want to go through the owners manual since they're written in a way that covers multiple trim levels and not just the SR5. Toyota does that to save money on printing a different manual for a different trim level. This is strait to the point and no dilly dallying around. Thumbs up and putting this in my saved videos for future reference since I just bought a SR-5 4WD longed last Monday.
For the traction control button, if you hold it down it will disable traction control as well as automatic braking. Excellent job on this video, I actually learned a lot. Thank you.
I just purchased a 2024 a few days ago. This was a very informative video. There's so much to learn about the MID I don't know if I'll ever learn it all, but you did a good job explaining most of it.
Thanks for the video! Would you mind sharing your experience/opinion on the small screen? It seems like it might be a little small for spljt screen between maps and music for example
I must have an even lower trim level SR-5 4WD than the one you're presenting here because I don't have the trailer controller behind the right side of the steering wheel. It's just a cubby hole also I don't have a wireless charge pad for my phone which is okay, I didn't use it on my 3rd generation that I traded for this current truck.
is there not an ability to mute the radio from the steering wheel? I noticed when I did text to speech in a TRD sport for replying to a text, I also could not hear what I said in the reply because the radio kept playing, not sure if you have to turn that feature off or something
Hey Roy I don’t think they’ve dropped much. The market is cooling slightly though. Army green will likely hold its value strong. Lunar rock too. They both get a lot of love.
Precise tutorial, as usual from you, excellent work, your devoted efforts is really much appreciated bro 👏 Hope to see you in the next video Brian. Best wishes from Egypt, peace ✌️
Should be available yes. Toyota decided not to show the options included in their packages on the brochure so you can double check availability for your region on Toyota.com while building a truck.

How much was your sr5?
Good stuff, thanks. Just got a 2024 SR5 a few days ago.
Congrats!
What did you pay
Thanks
You got it
3:31 the headlights actually come on when the wipers are on if they’re on auto! Great feature no other manufacturer does

My pleasure. I actually *prefer* the smaller screen. Much easier on the eyes and less in my face. I’m old school.

There are two upgraded packages

Do you know if I can get a soft landing tailgate aftermarket?
That's the one thing I miss about the 3rd gen.

Press and hold the mode button
Hi Brian. Did the resale value drop on the 3rd generation Tacoma? Does colors affect price as well? Like Lunar Rock and Army Green?

Thanks so much Hamdy! How’s the weather today in Egypt?
Too hot ~45°C 🥵
Is there an option to upgrade to the 14” infotainment system on the sr5?

Trucks don’t have auto stop start. One less thing to turn off 😎
