The WWF in this era wasn’t as match gimmick happy usually even in blood feuds. You would see your cage matches and Lumberjacks, Texas Death/NO DQ matches sometimes but unlike most of the territories where while drawing the feud over 3/4, even 5 Sometimes return matches on a hot feud that was getting over you could go from a standard match, to a (because of unfair advantage do to a Heel Manager) even the odds match where the Babyface brings a partner or fellow face to make sure the aforementioned Heel Mng stays under control. If it ends in a schmozz Or another fucked finish then maybe a Lumberjack or steel cage match. That’s as far as WWF would go but in other territories they might pivot to Coal Miners Glove match or “anything goes match”. As corny as the coal miners glove (grab the glove off the pole, use said glove which was Kayfabe loaded on the Heel, guy gets 1 punch knocked out unconscious, 1-2-3 pin and feud over) gimmick was that shit hot over huge back in the 70/80s in Mid South Wrestling, Portland territory, Calgary Stampede used those. Started watching this to study wrestling psychology, but am impressed by the lead commentator. Does anyone know who is the man calling the action with Superstar Billy Graham?
Great match between Rude and Roberts, gonna have to watch the whole thing interrupted.Whats funny and try is my name is Damian and I was Vince,Linda,Gene,Bobbie,Hulk,Macho and others driver from 88-90. I'm in the vignette where DiBiase is going to the jewelers and I'm the driver, also got in the ring with Hulk when he owes me a receipt and body. Slammed me from all the way up He left the Belt in the limo that night letting me be the Champ for a night Got to bring home the Million Dollar Belt also,so it have pics of me wearing the Double Eagle and the Million Dollar .
I made a mistake in editing....I had his theme mistakenly loaded in the software from a prior show I edited, which required the overdub. The song accidentally made it into this video. I'm prettty busy at this time , so I will probably not going back to fix it..
Hey Lou....Iam just curious what you think...Iam curious how much per match Hogan made on house shows?..Like in 1988..How much was Hogan making per year..just on wrestling.....I’ve always been curious about money and how much wrestlers make......Thanks for a great channel....I can’t get enough of WWF House Shows........I always kinda liked Superstar on color...at least he brings energy...the last thing he sounds is bored being there..That’s for sure.......Respects brother..👊👊👊

Ppl talk about Flairs robes but i always wondered how much Rudes tights costed. I know theyre airbrushed but still that adds up unless the designers in the backstage did them like nowadays when wrestlers need something
He already explained, he added in Rude's music so it wasn't the crappy dubbed in WWE stuff and he evidently misplaced one of the audio clips to that point of the video.

He is legendary to me for his call of Midnight Rockers vs Buddy Rose / Doug Somers (AWA Bloodbath at Showboat) as well as his call of Nick Bockwinkel and Curt Hennig's 60 Min draw for the AWA Title New Years eve 12/31/86
Rod Trongard was a true sportscaster. Vince McMahon wanted his announcers to tell stories as opposed to doing play-by-play.
Who is that Blue Blazer?! Incredible athlete!
Fuck. The Blue Blazer - the gimmick that started Owen’s career and the gimmick that ended it. 😞
And thus it came full circle.
Yes that's a sad point 😢R. I. P Owen James Hart 🕊️
Man, Bret was so great in his prime.
Started watching this to study wrestling psychology, but am impressed by the lead commentator. Does anyone know who is the man calling the action with Superstar Billy Graham?
Ron Tronguard
Great matches. Paul Roma had one hot muscular physique
🤮
Who?
Cheryl Roberts died of cancer I think 10 years ago but rip to all the other guys that died from this clip too
Rick rude one of the best ever heels and hard as nails.
The 2nd match, Blue blazer (Owen vs José Estrada (the super medic in Puerto Rico) also one of the conquistadors...
WHY WAS RICK RUDE'S MUSIC PLAYING DURING THE HART FOUNDATION FABULOUS ROUGEAUS MATCH
I made a mistake in editing....I had his theme mistakenly loaded in the software from a prior show I edited, which required the overdub. The song accidentally made it into this video. I'm prettty busy at this time , so I will probably not going back to fix it..
The ref look like he built to put you on your back.. low-key 😂
Hey Mikey. I have no clue. I rarely pay attention to ca$h that isn't mine. Haha. I Loved the old house shows too, man I went to several back in the day. Superstar Graham is kind of a guilty pleasure for me..he said the most rediculous shit on commentary & got away with it.
Thanks for the support!!!
All I know hogan and the wrestlers on his shows got more money due to his presence.
Anyone else watching this while Monday night Raw is on?
😂 lol
Old scool wrestling i like that
Superstar Bill Graham having to call Hulk Hogan his hero is disgusting.
I know i bet the Superstar took those words back quicker than a Danny Davies 3 count....... Dang
This crazy year , it include Halloween 4 back in theater and Guns N’ Roses dominating MTV
RIP....Owen Hart
I'm surprised Graham never commented on the blue blazer background and skills more, both from Stus dungeon.
Swear I can faintly hear Jesse Ventura at 29:23 say something like "one-thousand pounds of guitars he carries". Was the commentary re-done or edited in post-production??
Sounds to me like Rod TronGard's audio just got low for a moment. That was Ron who made the comment you are referencing.
@@unprofessionalwrestling It's that Minnesotan accent that they both share that got me. Thanks for replying WHILST I'm still watching the video. Speedy response 👍 👏 👌
All you people that doesn't like Billy Graham. I don't think much of the commentators since 2000. Nothing wrong with the Superstar. Jesse Ventura nothing
Brooklyn Brawler 😎😮
Is Paul Roma Disco Inferno? 😮
nope roma was a semi jobber in wwf for years then he went to wcw and was even in the horsemen
@@johansvensson833 For a while he was quite popular when he teamed up with Hercules to form Power & Glory. They had a feud with the Rockers.
how is Haku not in the hall of fame
R.I.P. Owen Hart! 😔 🔥
RIP Owen Hart BKA The Blue Blazer
The ultimate warrior. When bmx and skateboards were better than commodore 64.
I was at that match
What's that song @28:00 ? sounds like the Top Gun soundtrack Mighty Wings
That's the Blue Blazer theme. I believe Jimmy Hart & another guy were composing at this time, but maybe Johnston..not sure. I personally prefer Jimmy Hart's themed to all others.
Sad how many of the men on this card are no longer with us.
Owen Hart was in the WWF in 1988? I didn't know that
He was your daddy
He was blue blazer before he started using his real name.
Ron Trongard on the play by play, where's Lord James Blears
Ppl talk about Flairs robes but i always wondered how much Rudes tights costed. I know theyre airbrushed but still that adds up unless the designers in the backstage did them like nowadays when wrestlers need something
God this takes me back to my childhood. Amazing moments. BTW why is "Akeem" a white dude? 🤣
That Hogan helmet 🤣🤣🤣
27:18 we should see a finish here, Rod. Thanks graham
38:04 Did anyone catch that random comment by that kid in the crowd, obviously not a Mr. Perfect fan
...Owen Just from His tour of Japan and Fued with Makahn Sighn back home!...
Isn't Lombardi the later 'Brooklyn Brawler?' Ha, I think so...
Did Brunzell borrow a pair of Superstar Billy Graham's old tights? Sheesh!!
"Hart Beat" / "Road To Destruction"
The Hart Foundation 1988 Theme
So it debuted earlier than December 1988
Why is Rick Rude's music playing at 1:25:00?
He already explained, he added in Rude's music so it wasn't the crappy dubbed in WWE stuff and he evidently misplaced one of the audio clips to that point of the video.
yes. this is true !!!
