It reminds some of us of childhood! Can’t imagine paying $500 for a digicam though HAHA. It’s about $50 for one now and it’s so worth for the sense of nostalgia! ✌️

The DSC-W350 he used here was around 170-200 $ new in 2010. It isnt even THAT old. Thats already "Vintage"? I honestly find it a shame, smartphone cameras have REALLY good hardware, just they are ALWAYS over processed and I just gag whenever a reviewer says an iPhone looks natural. Most smartphones on the market are either oversaturated, oversharped or have too much contrast. I wouldn't mind using my smartphone as my camera but just because of the processing, it gives a good reason to still use a regular camera.
@@jesselam5867if it’s worth the hassle for you, one nice workaround is to shoot through apps like Lightroom, which give you more options regarding the post-processing within the phone :)
One of my friends brought one of these to my school field trip. Something about those photos make it look nostalgic. But my friends say every camera shoots photos like that. But they don't know what they are talking about. They probably never held a modern camera in their hands

I’m a type of guy that finds *good modern camera* boring, since its capture what my eyes can already see. I wanted something to remind me of the places and moments I have visited to be nostalgia, atmospheric and need to look like it’s some work of art, that’s why I always stick to my old digicam and films
I love collecting old cameras. I love the way 2000 digital cameras photos look, I recently got a Polaroid A530 and am so excited to take photos with it. I usually collect analog so this is my first digital

Yes, Retro is a better word, some people are saying that is like "film". In the 2000s era of digital cameras, nobody was saying that those cameras were like film, in a way it was the opposite. It's a real shame there are no film options that don't use animal products - which is why I love shooting with an old digital camera. You get a similar nostalgic look without the explicit animal cruelty. I recommend the Sony DSC-TX5 for an option which has that interesting bloom and dreamy soft color profile. The camera itself is quite a novelty too.
@@nerddenim6039 They're really good, but I was an idiot and lost mine when I moved house a few months ago. I've been on the look out for a replacement ever since :(
Well, I have a story to tell.. in 2011 when I was 11 years old my dad bought me the cybershot w560, I was too happy! I liked the idea of taking photos and at that time it was a camera with a quality that was crazy, smartphones were still in evolution and they did not have that quality so it was something really impressive and for a small girl even more. To make the story short, two years later I "lost" the camera, or at least I thought I lost it because I never saw it again, and I didn't take my camera anywhere without te presence of my family because I could lose it and at that time the camera had been very expensive. I used it the most to take photos of my family in different events, photos of the garden and when my friends went to visit. I never told my dad anything about the camera, I couldn't and he never asked me about it, but i lived in constant fear, I was terrified every time they talked about technology or stuffs like that, because I was like "he's going to ask me about how I'm doing with the camera" and in these moments in my mind I could only beg a "please don't ask me" because I knew they were going to scold me ugly and well.. I kinda deserved it. I cried a lot, in different days and I felt very bad and I searched the house looking for it, and the worst thing is that I had the box with the accessories and the charger and everything except the camera so I was like how I could have lost it?? Years passed and I forgot about that, in 2018 I moved to another country and when my mother came to visit, she brought me the camera (I know, plot twist) I cried for happiness and for the emotion of seeing it again, but I was very surprised at how she found it, she said that looking for it In my room it was in the closet, apparently in a high area that I never really went up to because I couldn't, so the camera was always in my house. It is a mystery that has no answer, how did the camera get to that part of the closet that I couldn't go to? Because I didnt. Did someone came into my room (siblings) and did it? Or is it that there were goblins hiding things?? The thing is that when she brings me the camera, she brings it to me without the accessories because she told me that she didn't find them, she only brought it with the sd card and the battery. I managed to get the photos back which was very special to me, but I never really set out to buy a charger because I didnt have the resources to do it, so I'm currently here looking for videos to see if it's worth buying a charger and using the camera again. I have always liked photography and I am sure that if I had never "lost" my camera, photography would now be more important in my life, but it was a hobby that I lost because I could not face the fact that I had not appreciated that object so I left it in the past. I know this is very long and I doubt anyone has read it, but if so, thank you. Also, I apppreciated the video a lot because now I feel more convinced to find a way to charge the camera and see if still works! If it does, i'll try to give an update and closure to this story.

How to transfer photos on cellphone?
Hey what is the charger for this camera? The charging port. Not for the battery itself. I have the same camera and cannot find the right charger.
14 is way too much MP. Try a 5 to 8. I have a 7 MP Fuji and it gives a much more retro look.
👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻
In the 2000s I was just a three year old but at the time I was unaware of the digital cameras being that my mom always bought the disposable film camera which at the time I think she didn't have the money to be buying digital cameras but at the same time if I thought about it if she didn't buy disposable film cameras I think she could have gotten the digital cameras back then if she set aside some money for that

Hello, I have the same camera as you but I couldn't transfer the photos to my phone! How can I transfer it?
Waaaw🔥 to get vintage results, is this an automatic setting or a camera effect??
automatic! it’s the sensor’s work!
Great video! By the way is there any chance were these shot in St. Petersburg Florida?
Thank you! Nope. All the shots were taken in Singapore
