When I discovered in my research for Saber Shiki that Summer Artoria--one of the absolute best Arts Servants in the game--features the exact same amazing healing skill (demerit and all), my hands left my keyboard and I was done. The problem with her isn't in the present; the problem with her is when future 5-star Servants are released.
I mainly rolls the Gacha for CE, which I got all of now but sadly no Saber Shiki. Grant it would be greedy of me to expect more after those God like rolls I have had 3 SSR (Jack finally came home), 2 SSR and Lots of 5* and 4* CE (KScope was one of them). in only 10 rolls
Summer Artoria is basically Nero Bride with a class switch. Both of them are more suited for Single bosses with high HP. If you fight multiple Bosses with high HP, then Void Shiki would be more effective as she hits all enemies. Who knows, instant death might proc for one of them. Either way I got both Nero Bride and Void Shiki so enemy lancers are dead to me. Gonna roll for Summer Artoria too but if I don't get her, I'll just call support.

What she's adorable which is weird considering normal Shiki is dark and brooding and it's also weird because they're both voiced by the same voice actress along with Jeanne, Jeanne alter and Alexander...... I wish I was joking I was shocked also. Long story short cute Shiki is usable and plus I love me my sword women so of course I'm going to use her. Not to mention after listening to her speak she is just so cute!

Connection to the root is also quite underwelming for a skill which description says that it's "the mark of an all powerful wish granting machine making stats meaningless" the effects are quite tame. Well, she is still best girl ^^

I was extremely lucky to roll her. Even if it was a late snowy night when she came. I can't explain it but for some reason she is very satisfying to have her on team! Love her! I hope that she will get that well deserved buff!
I have Void Shiki at Bond 10 recently, a very reliable farming servant especially in the Lostbelts where even the supposed to be trash mobs are on 5-6 digits in health bars or the events were you to alot in order to get materials needed for the Welfares or just materials for skills or ascensions. Then there is this challenge quest where you need to fight 300 Spartans with Leonidas is it in Battle in New York, it took some trial and error on some servants to use then settled in using Waver/Void Shiki/Tamamo in front Bride, Mash, Jeanne on backrow. Shiki did a good job on killing the Spartans and chipping bit by bit on the healty bar of Leonidas then using Bride for the finishing blow.
people who say she is bad are ranked S... for salty lol... she is pretty good for farming hands, even the archer ones... i hope she gets a np upgrade in the future... just an animation update doesnt makes her justice...
Mystic eyes of death perception is certainly useful in a situation where you need and able to kill the enemies on that turn but they have evade/invincible buff on, and their meter turned red meaning they're ready to unleash their own NP that can wipe your team on that very turn.
You know, I think I may have found my new exp farm team member; spend the first two 'rounds' building up NP, then kill the third with insta-death. Death rate isn't effected by class resistance, right? So it shouldn't even matter which ones I'm facing. Gonna have to get that first skill up, though.
rolled for fujino on and off somehow I got a np2 saber shiki, with just summoning tickets, fine by be because shiki is one of my favorite servants design wise.

I'm happy to hear that Ryougi Shiki Saber isn't as bad as people keep saying she is, considering I personally really like Ryougi Shiki a lot. I plan to try and get her Saber form because it's Shiki and she's a pretty Rare Servant. Plus, I have Waver and Nero Bride so I can put her on a Team with those 2 supporting her very well. Saw she was on the 4th year anniversary "blue" banner, and that made it easy for me to decide which banner to pull on. Shiki showed up on the very first pull. Couldn't be happier! I started the game after seeing Garden of Sinners (which I absolutely fell in love with) recently and was crushed to find out that I had missed the Assassin Shiki. Apparently fate decided to reward me anyway :)
While watching this video i realized that your doing semiramis Valentine's event. Which is great because the kara no kyokai rerun event was right after.
I really like how all of Shiki's sprites are very different. I'm used to most of my servants looking basically the same for their first two, but Shiki gets an entirely new hairdo and a different kimono in every change.
poipoi 1st sprite is based on 5th movie and Epilogue episode, 2nd sprite is based on Type-Moon's 10th aniversary/Mirai Fukuin movie attire. 3rd sprite is based off "Tsuki-no-Sango" which is another work written by Nasu.
Shiki's release in FGO is when they started being more creative with servant designs and animations so you'll notice a lot of new servants from here on have wildly different sprite art between ascensions which is great

Saber Shiki is awesome and gorgeous, but since I already have Arturia and Nero Bride I'm gonna have to pass to save the quartz. I love her outfit though.
I actually think the defense CEs like shroud and iron will are great for her. If they can't kill her with their NP, and she heals faster than they hurt, then she's invincible regardless of how many turns you fight. With 20-30% defense and against an AOE, she can basically solo every lancer boss in the game.
she is a better servant than assassin shiki though. because both shiki's main offense is the instant kill, and saber shiki can AOE instant kill. though her AOE instant kill percentage is much lesser, her mystic eyes skill solve that problem by making it 120% instant kill at NP1. and she has a really good heal skill too. 5000HP heal in 4 turns is pretty insane. she is great during boss fights if you want to skip through the 1st or sometimes even the 2nd wave to prevent your berserkers or weaker class servants to take too much damage before reaching the boss. or if you are facing boss and you want to clear out the boss's support lackeys. Assassin shiki= instant kill+crit servant Saber shiki= instant kill+ tank servant

In a game full of jailbait lolies and basicahentailies I find her character design super attractive and her wave clear NP is such a time saver for the endless days of farming.

I love her. Shiki Ryougi is the main reason I got into Fate Grand Order game. I got her on my first roll too. I have both versions. If it wasn't for her I don't know if I would have spent so much time playing the game As a Tsukihime and Garden of Sinners fan I have some negative feelings toward the Fate series(Mainly just neglect over other type moon series). But man getting her just made my day and made me get into the game with other servants and events as well. I am hoping to see Arcueid and Aoko Aozaki as future servants.
I know saying this will trigger people but I got her with 3 summons without giving it much thought. Probably shouldn't have rolled for her at all considering I got np 2 Bride umu, but I'll take what I can get. I'm honestly really glad cause she's really cool looking, and it motivates me to finally look into Kara no Kyoukai more.
I wasn’t planning on rolling her but when I played that 666 ghost bosses and she was the support I was like wow she is really pretty no cap and my mind was made up right there. I blew four tickets and got a Herc but I wasn’t satisfied. One ten roll later I was blessed by this beauty. I might watch her series but that’s a big maybe since I don’t watch anime seriously I once did. Anyways thanks for the tips on using her effectively my man.
Ok I know I'm a bit late on this, but I'd just like to note something, shiki makes a really good team with medea lily on a stall team, medea lily's third skill to increase healing received, comined with lilys skill heal, her np and shiki's self heal is honestly ridiculous. The main problem is that it's alot of healing in a short time often more than is needed. Honestly I wish I had tamamo to take that shit to the next level but alas, i guess one can only have so many five stars as an almost completely free to play player
Decided to do a yolo summon with the ticket I got for logging in today and got her. I was silent for at least thirty second while trying to comprehend what had just happened.
I think I will save my quarts on this one. The assassin Shiki seem much more useful (and free). Plus the only times I have been able to actualy get an instant death to happen is againts opponets so weak the standard damage would have been overkill anyway.
Noah Evans there is later quests with bosses with minions of a few hundred thousands hp, wich helps a ton, besides assasin shiki still has the death rate but even more pointless than saber shiki because its single target...
Hmmm, now that Hokusai is out in NA now, Void Shiki's NP suddenly sounds even more viable than ever now. I hope that I can get better luck on the rerun this time around. I'd love to try that strategy for myself and see how good that combo is.
i was in desperare need of a Saber servant (due to shit tier luck in past events and rolls). When I got her from a single summon ticket, I was finally happy. No matter what, I will make her work!!!
F2P, rolled a bunch for her, finally got her just today with the second to last of the 10 free tickets, and so relieved. Finally have an AoE saber to pair with my maxed ST Saberlot, rather than relying on a crappy d'Eon as a second saber. D'Eon has her uses, just too niche normally, and not really fun to play. So much happier with Shiki.
At the end there was that a Lancer Kiyohime?? Also there were several servants here who I don't recognize, I've only been playing for a few months though.

Is there any way to trigger instant death on an actual servant? I know that in practicality its impossible, because FUCK THE GACHA, but would a team of servants with instant death abilities like King Hassan, Assassin Shiki and Void Shiki firing off their noble phantasms in succession at 500% could trigger the effect?
Most likely not, even with all the death effects stacked together your chances would be less than 1%, and even then it's still an open question whether some bosses just have a 0 death rate and are completely immune. Instant death is just good for farming essentially
I got void shiki on literally my first summon ticket i got from the mission quests. But when i found out that she ain't the power type and just a farming/tank... I just say goodbye to my other inevitable chances on ever getting another 5star roll in my F2P life.
I wasn't even aiming for her, I just wanted the CEs. I have no saber exp cards saved up at all and still have OG Arturia stuck at level 86 and Nero Bride at 80. And the very first card of my very first ten roll was a saber that sparked gold and turned out to be her. I'm not even sure how to react to that.
That's a sad thing I got her in a ticket I'm low lvl... I can relate on the "Insta Death" so unreliable... It doesn't affect bosses or servants.. or like 5-15% Chance to proc on them.. :< then Again she is my only 5star saber atm *Sighs . .
Something that can fill her NP faster will be much better I think, than the one increase her damage. Considering she rely on instant kill from her NP., for farming. Against bosses, something like Maid Halloween should be more fit to her

Saber Shiki may not be the best but oh my God. If I can give recommends, look up some of the JP players soloing with her. It's a spectacle.

Yep, that is probably her best role, you can use her against any hands class resistance doesn't matter
You could just use her for a part of an event farming node that has silvers and bronzes

In a game full of jailbait lolies and basicahentailies I find her character design super attractive and her wave clear NP is such a time saver for the endless days of farming.

I just watched this video and right after that , I went on to spin with some quartz , and I got Ryougi Shiki (saber) ... I mean its my first 5 star , so ... I'm definitely maxing her out :D
In my quest for NP 2 Fujino, I ended up getting NP 4 Void Shiki.....I think this is my highest NP lvl for a 5 start right now, that or my Tamamo....
Now I just need to wait till 2020 to finally be able to roll for her....

I love her. Shiki Ryougi is the main reason I got into Fate Grand Order game. I got her on my first roll too. I have both versions. If it wasn't for her I don't know if I would have spent so much time playing the game
As a Tsukihime and Garden of Sinners fan I have some negative feelings toward the Fate series(Mainly just neglect over other type moon series). But man getting her just made my day and made me get into the game with other servants and events as well. I am hoping to see Arcueid and Aoko Aozaki as future servants.
They have to do a Tsukihime event at some point I'm sure lol

I know saying this will trigger people but I got her with 3 summons without giving it much thought. Probably shouldn't have rolled for her at all considering I got np 2 Bride umu, but I'll take what I can get. I'm honestly really glad cause she's really cool looking, and it motivates me to finally look into Kara no Kyoukai more.

I wasn’t planning on rolling her but when I played that 666 ghost bosses and she was the support I was like wow she is really pretty no cap and my mind was made up right there. I blew four tickets and got a Herc but I wasn’t satisfied. One ten roll later I was blessed by this beauty. I might watch her series but that’s a big maybe since I don’t watch anime seriously I once did. Anyways thanks for the tips on using her effectively my man.

Ok I know I'm a bit late on this, but I'd just like to note something, shiki makes a really good team with medea lily on a stall team, medea lily's third skill to increase healing received, comined with lilys skill heal, her np and shiki's self heal is honestly ridiculous. The main problem is that it's alot of healing in a short time often more than is needed. Honestly I wish I had tamamo to take that shit to the next level but alas, i guess one can only have so many five stars as an almost completely free to play player

I was not expecting it at all because my luck with summoning is pretty awful with few exceptions.
The important thing for me, was how amazing she looks in her 2nd ascension art. So good.
Eidde oh for me its her third saint graph, her second is unique and cool tbh but the third one its just so beautiful
I'm torn between her ascensions, but I like the third one best I think because I like long hair. She definitely has some of the best art in the game.

I think I will save my quarts on this one. The assassin Shiki seem much more useful (and free). Plus the only times I have been able to actualy get an instant death to happen is againts opponets so weak the standard damage would have been overkill anyway.
Noah Evans there is later quests with bosses with minions of a few hundred thousands hp, wich helps a ton, besides assasin shiki still has the death rate but even more pointless than saber shiki because its single target...
Update: we'll get a rank-up quest for shiki saber this week. Rather than april 2021...
Hmmm, now that Hokusai is out in NA now, Void Shiki's NP suddenly sounds even more viable than ever now. I hope that I can get better luck on the rerun this time around. I'd love to try that strategy for myself and see how good that combo is.

F2P, rolled a bunch for her, finally got her just today with the second to last of the 10 free tickets, and so relieved. Finally have an AoE saber to pair with my maxed ST Saberlot, rather than relying on a crappy d'Eon as a second saber. D'Eon has her uses, just too niche normally, and not really fun to play. So much happier with Shiki.

Is there any way to trigger instant death on an actual servant? I know that in practicality its impossible, because FUCK THE GACHA, but would a team of servants with instant death abilities like King Hassan, Assassin Shiki and Void Shiki firing off their noble phantasms in succession at 500% could trigger the effect?
Most likely not, even with all the death effects stacked together your chances would be less than 1%, and even then it's still an open question whether some bosses just have a 0 death rate and are completely immune. Instant death is just good for farming essentially

I got void shiki on literally my first summon ticket i got from the mission quests.
But when i found out that she ain't the power type and just a farming/tank...
I just say goodbye to my other inevitable chances on ever getting another 5star roll in my F2P life.

I wasn't even aiming for her, I just wanted the CEs. I have no saber exp cards saved up at all and still have OG Arturia stuck at level 86 and Nero Bride at 80. And the very first card of my very first ten roll was a saber that sparked gold and turned out to be her. I'm not even sure how to react to that.

That's a sad thing I got her in a ticket I'm low lvl... I can relate on the "Insta Death" so unreliable... It doesn't affect bosses or servants.. or like 5-15% Chance to proc on them.. :< then Again she is my only 5star saber atm *Sighs . .
My only two 5-Stars thus far have been Limited 5-Star Servants (Okita and Nero Bride) so... YOLO roll?

Something that can fill her NP faster will be much better I think, than the one increase her damage. Considering she rely on instant kill from her NP., for farming. Against bosses, something like Maid Halloween should be more fit to her
