Your ideas are fantastic and the pictures beautiful. But you never show the downloading process from these pd sites. I find all these images are of such low resolution (72 dpi) that they are useless. What am I doing wrong?
When you say they are useless... what are you trying to do with the images? Like I typically download the image and use it in Photoshop or Affinity Photo?
@@craftystax Thanks for responding. I use the images for creating scrapbook digital paper. I don't have Photoshop, use Word mostly and Canva. I need high resolution images. When I test these museum etc. images their dpi always seem to be low. I really would like to use these beautiful images but I cannot increase their sharpness.
Hmm that is an interesting predicament. One thing you can try is to zoom in the image on the website and then use a screen shot tool (like Snipping Tool, comes with Windows) and that would give you a larger image. May be worth a try, let me see if I can do a video on this.
@@craftystax I have the snipping tool, as you say, on Eord but so far couldn't figure out how it works. However, I did learn something from you and that is to enlarge the image to determine how sharp it is. To me, (and I have much to learn), it seems as if some images are sharp enough even when the dpi is very low. I probably don't understand dpi🙄
Can you walk through a couple alteration processes? You showed some designs, which are great, by the way. How did you get from the original picture to your finalized product? Was this photoshop? Gimp? Inkscape?
Yes I have a really old version of Photoshop that I use and also Inkscape. I also have Affinity Photo but I don't use it as much as I should. Yes hoping to have lots of "how to" vids on how to clean up old artwork!
Hey there - I am definitely not an expert on NFTs but my understanding is that you can use any artwork that you have the rights to use (or public domain artwork). This stuff is all public domain so should be good!
i like how you go deeply if they are public domain or not
thank you so much
