That’s what happens when a team has a super zesty fruitcup throwing footballs for them. Maybe draft a real man to throw the football and the bears might actually do something.
As an European I kinda am all about New York teams beeing at least remotely successful. Just because it feels illogical the biggest cities to have unsuccessful teams unlike in most European sports league.
Well, when your GM doesn’t draft a quality center after having the previous season plagued with the exact same issues at center under Justin Fields, I’m not surprised by the outcome. Also, I don’t understand why we thought Davis was a good player to pick up anyway.
I posted about them on here as well. I feel like they're a couple of tweaks away from competing for at least a wild card, especially in that division. If I was a head coaching candidate, the Jags would be one of the jobs that I would see as intriguing.
Pretty much any game last year, Bryce Young would throw 0 TDs and 2 or 3 interceptions meanwhile last game he had 2 passing TDs and 1 rushing TD plus no interceptions. So it's nice too see how much he's improved
Having him sit for a few weeks was a great idea, as it turns out. He definitely needed out of the pressure cooker of starting and just catch his breath. He seems like a good kid so hopefully he'll ultimately end up being a good QB in the league.
I would give the Niners a pass for this year. It's disappointing, but with all of those injuries, they were completely screwed. It just wasn't meant to be for them this year.
2:08: And that is the reason the team brought back Eberflus as the coach. Just like Pierce with the Raiders, a false late season run led to disaster in a full season mode the next year.
The 49ers are definitely an honorable mention, and is my personal pick for the single most disappointing team due to me predicting them to finish 12-5, but they were also injured to hell and back since the start of the year.
Are the 9ers really disappointing? When you’re plagued by injury and in-season tragedy to the extent that they’ve been your record obviously isn’t going to be the greatest.
@buttermoth5861 your point is taken but the 49ers are much bigger disappointments than the Giants. Giants were projected to be a hot mess going into 2024
I never understood why the jets fans thought they would win the Super Bowl with him. If he couldn't win in Green Bay in like the previous five seasons, there was no way he was gonna win with that poverty franchise.
Jets, Bears, Bengals, Cowboys and 49ers are the most disappointing teams. I never thought the Jets and Bears were going to do anything. But the Bengals, 49ers and Cowboys I thought were for sure playoff teams like they usually are.
To me, the Bengals turned out to be exactly what I thought that they would be- a team with a supersonic offense that would have big question marks on defense. They do still have a chance to make it to the playoffs though. We'll see what happens. I bet that the other AFC teams are hoping that the Bengals don't get in.
As a Texans fan couldn't agree more. A lot of the same issues as the bears. Slowick and strausser have to be gone this year for us to make any improvements going forward. Need to focus on our Oline this off-season to give stroud a fighting chance. Injuries havnt helped us as well.
9:17 don’t care don’t give a rip the Giants just need to lose out so we can get the number one pick. The Giants are acting like a flagship franchise. They need to lose out, clean up their house and start getting their shit together. It’s been way too long since this franchise has been good. I’m glad the Jones is gone. I think you could consider firing the coach maybe even the GM but I wouldn’t go through that dance again either fire both or don’t fire anybody. Even before Barkley left, I wanted them to keep him and get rid of Jones. If it came down to the two I thought Barkley was a no-brainer but what can I say? Obviously, he’s doing great in Philadelphia so it is what it is.
The Saints for the first two weeks looked insane and surprisingly but the first two weeks they played two teams who both might finish with losing records
The large part of the Bears disappointment had been how high they let their hype and expectations get pumped up before any of the games were played. GM Ryan Poles and the Bears marketing department did little to tamp down expectations fully expecting the team to take off like some meme coin only to have reality pull the rug on them. It didn't help that they were also featured on Hard Knocks this summer which only added to the hype. The reality was that this team had patchwork lines on both sides of the ball and little depth with a rookie QB and mediocre coaching, and if the front office did a better job with managing the expectations they likely wouldn't be on the chopping block at season's end.
They had to convince us fans that Caleb was the answer to all the problems. I truly believe that Fields isn't a franchise QB but with his running abilities and the weapons Caleb has, I think Justin would have the Bears seating at least 8 to 9 wins. With far less, he got us to 7 last season
@@blakeattig5426Unsurprisingly, two of the teams we beat (Titans and Jaguars) are ahead of us in the draft order, while the Panthers are technically behind us (they haven’t played their 16th game yet).
The wildest thing about this season is that a majority of the top ten would be picking top 2 if it was last season. Alongside that most of their wins are against each other.
I would've put the Jaguars in this video over the Giants. Many expected them to win their division but they've looked awful even when Trevor Lawrence played.
Caleb has nearly 2k yards in garbage time, holds the ball for an average of 4.2 seconds, and misses most throws over 6 yards... That is horrendous. Letting a QB hold the ball for 4.2 seconds is insanely good for an Oline. Caleb needs coaching badly, he got the ego check this season, now he needs coaching. He sucks so bad.
The Giants had less hope to succeed than the Bears and especially the Jets, but the Saints before the Jaguars? The Saints haven't done anything since Peyton left. Less than two years ago Jacksonville was playing the Chiefs tight at Kansas City in the AFC divisional playoffs and KC went on to win the super bowl. Now Jacksonville may get the first overall pick for the third time in five years. The owner said on camera before the season this was the best team in franchise history and instead, they had their worst loss in franchise history. Who gave them that loss? The Detroit Lions, the team who picked second overall two drafts ago right behind Jacksonville.
Why did anyone have faith in the Jets? This is a franchise who's never won their division two years in a row, who's greatest stretch of success (1997-2010) still have them go through five different head coaches (six if you count Belichick's one day in charge.) and who's seen not just two former quarterback have greater success after leaving them but a hall of fame head coach. They are one of only a hand full of teams to not have a winning season over the course of an entire decade and they keep making the same mistakes!
IF the league didn't rig everything up the Thom Brady and them Patriots the Jets woulda won many supper bowls. When they had Vinny Testedverde they were the best team in the league brugh they had Bryan Cocks beefing out toilet ring all game long son!!
The thing with the Jets and the Bears is that both of their expectations are 100% media influenced. I know way more people outside of NY and CHI that weren’t as high on those two teams than those that were
As a Packer fan, I thought the game against the Saints was a work of art, a beautiful event, and was very impressed with the Packers. Right now, it seems like they are beginning to hit their stride as the season winds down, and the playoffs beckon. The game against the Vikings has a lot of significance, as the Packers could get a better seed, especially if they win out against the Bears, and the Lions also beat the Vikes. Food for thought.
Let’s goo love these vids. Can you do a raider break down? I feel like a lot of their struggles were circumstantial and injuries and wrong QB selection being the main ones but I’d like to hear your prognosis
For all 4 teams discussed, I am not surprised that all 4 teams share the same thing that holds them back: incompetent front offices, specifically ownership for 3 of them. The Bears and Jets, older NFL fans like myself have already known this fact, so it's more surprising that these two teams do not trip over themselves and make a playoff run. For the Giants, being too loyal has its faults, considering the people that John Mara continues to keep around his inner circle. The Saints, unfortunately Father Time has never been beaten, so despite a strong 2017 draft, the pied piper has come to collect his due, and the Saints are staring down the potential of a long rebuild ahead. Long, cause the Saints have a lot of dead cap that prevents them from signing the help they need, and unless they can catch lightning in a bottle again at the Draft, this franchise's future is bleak.
As a Seattle fan, losing to the Giants was the most disappointing thing about this season. And it's proving to be the difference in winning the NFC West.
There is really an epidemic of awful play and coaching this season, more than I seen in a while. I don’t love making excuses for quarterbacks who were top picks, as they have high expectations, but the Bears have to be one of the worst coached teams I ever seen. They start very slow every game, can’t even get plays in, and Caleb is running for his life nearly every play. It’s to the point where it could ruin him.
There's too many teams compared to how much talent there is in players and coaching. The college football game isn't creating enough talent capable of competing on the pro level. The only solution is to dissolve about four teams. Let the few capable players and coaches on those teams trickle out to the remaining franchises and everyone else can do something else with their lives. But the streaming and TV deals make bad franchises profitable no matter what sorry ass team they put on the field.
Nah. Caleb Williams is just a bust. He’ll be bad anywhere he goes. Not saying the Bears organization as a whole isn’t just as bad but..Williams was definitely their biggest problem this year
Friend, if you are looking for improvements, you can look to be less representative. During the Giants introduction you must have said the word game five times in three sentences. It is noticeable other times as well. Good luck.
You mention there isn't anything the Saints could do about Chris Olave's injuries each year, and I believe Michael Thomas (who, btw, Cam Newton agreed with) would have something to say about that. They kept Derek Carr as their starter, which is something they could have changed. He has thrown quite a few passes that are needlessly high at the wrong times which forces his WRs to stay high and get hit while either outstretched or standing upright, instead of being able to tuck and avoid the worst parts of the hit. Michael Thomas was irate as he played with Olave and saw both himself and Olave get hurt that season.

excluding the cap space issue with the saints i honestly feel hopeful for the team. honestly i feel like they’re one or two pieces away from being a very good team. granted, those positions are QB and DE, sure, but outside of that…man they feel good
As a beats fan I’m not surprised really it been the same script over and over. I do like Caleb Williams tho and think he’s the best Qb we had the past few decades we get him some Oline help and we’ll be solid👌🏾
Forgot to mention with saints lost rasheed shaheed which is a electric player in WR/KR but agree with every team & everything else you got great insight lol
The jets moving on from Zach Wilson just to get worse is so funny to me I'm convinced someone can turn Zach wilson into a quality qb just like geno & darnold
The Bears Seahawks game ended my hopes and dreams of a fantasy football title. Streamed Caleb because there were no good qbs available and ended with single digits.
I’ve been wrong about a lot of things so far this football season (the fact that I’m in the losers bracket for my fantasy football league proves that) but I could see from a mile away that the jets and bears were still going to suck this year 😂
The 9ers deserve a look. Imo. I get they had a lot of injuries but as a Lions fan sitting here after last years game its hard to not be disappointed that we can't get proper Revenge on these guys..i think they had some streaks in their underwear too. Purdy proving he can't put a franchise on his back. And Deebo just flat out sucking now. I think the 9ers were more then just an injured team. I think they were pretty Lackluster in certain areas too. They had expectations and aspirations of being a top 3 seed in the NFC. And regardless of how they got there they are 6-9. And in the NFC west Basement. Idk how they aren't at least a disappointment this year.
No one was picking the Titans to win a Super Bowl, but I think they deserve mention on here. A disappointing season at a time when they are begging people to buy PSLs in the new stadium.
Surprised to not see my Niners on here, considering the big "run it back" expectations. I would swap them in for the Giants because IMO most people expected them to be a bottom feeder
I'm surprised the Cowboys weren't your 4th pick for this video instead of the Saints. The Saints have been struggling for years and had no real expectations for 2024, whereas the Cowboys were expected to at least be in the playoffs this year, but they imploded.
really confused on how the giants made this list. were they ever projected to win more than 5 games ? additionally, we all saw how bad they were last year (they literally picked #6 overall), and they decided to not retain their best player in saquon barkley. not to mention we've all seen how bad janiel dones & evan neal have been, so did anyone expect them to perform better?
I would rank the Jaguars as one of the most disappointing teams. And, I did kind of see it coming- I think that I posted under their 2024 team preview video that I saw them as a "boom or bust" team. I think that there's no way that the Jags should be *this* bad- I feel like they have enough good players to at least compete for a wild card. To me, that Travis Etienne fumble in Week 1 turned out to he a harbinger of what was to come. That's a franchise that could certainly use a cilture change. If I were to he a head coaching candidate, I would see them as one of the more promising job openings. I find the Browns to be a big disappointment as well. While there were questions about their quarterback play coming into the season, I don't think that anyone would have thought that it would have been *this* bad. They are a team that is built to win now, and they squandered some good talent. I also thought that Tennessee was going to be better than they turned out to be. I thought that, at minimum, that they would be a team that would he difficult to play against, something similar to last year's Arizona Cardinals. But their QB play was also much worse than anticipated.
The 49ers are easily the most disappointing team in the league this year. Deebo fell off a cliff, Aiyuk got paid and missed the season, CMC is a walking questionable designation for the rest of his career, Purdy can't carry the non-stars, the defense fell off... anything short of a return to the Super bowl would have been disappointing, let alone missing the playoffs.
I thought the Giants would be one of the worst teams and didn't expect anything out of the Saints (though it has been a dramatic falloff after the first two weeks). Jaguars, Bengals, and 49ers have all been more disappointing. I thought there was a good chance all three would be playoff teams and only the Bengals have an outsider's chance of making it.

But the streaming and TV deals make bad franchises profitable no matter what sorry ass team they put on the field.
Nah. Caleb Williams is just a bust. He’ll be bad anywhere he goes. Not saying the Bears organization as a whole isn’t just as bad but..Williams was definitely their biggest problem this year
Dennis Allen's defense always sold us when it was the final 2 minutes of a game
Friend, if you are looking for improvements, you can look to be less representative. During the Giants introduction you must have said the word game five times in three sentences. It is noticeable other times as well. Good luck.
how are the 49ers not on this list?
Maxx Crosby is Nnamdi Asomugha 2.0
Wasting his prime years on that team
I don't know if I would make THAT comparison. Didn't PHI overpaid him and he just underperformed & disappointed Eagles fans in '11 & '12?
It’s hilarious the way so many internet expert analysts make excuses for Caleb Williams. Genuinely entertaining.
coaching matters.
Let’s go, another absolute banger from you
Banger? Is that a CP joke brugh? Uncouth. Real jerk move brugh.
@@gigachad6203 Yeah brugh I know what a banger is brugh!! That's what I was talmbout, the video you makin' a CP joke on brugh. Tf are u talmbout? More jerk moves are you jokin' me right now brugh!?!?
Simply wonderful! Thank you for your hard work and talent! 💝🐱
excluding the cap space issue with the saints i honestly feel hopeful for the team. honestly i feel like they’re one or two pieces away from being a very good team. granted, those positions are QB and DE, sure, but outside of that…man they feel good
As a beats fan I’m not surprised really it been the same script over and over. I do like Caleb Williams tho and think he’s the best Qb we had the past few decades we get him some Oline help and we’ll be solid👌🏾
The Seahawks losing to this Giants team that will likely pick first overall potentially costing us a playoff spot hurts my soul.
I’m just happy he didn’t mention the bengals
I would say the Bengals defense gets part of the blame. The offense has delivered.
@ more than delivered
I wished the NFL forced the Mckaskeys to sell the Bears. I see the wonders ir did for Washington
Definitely expected the Bengals to make this list
Forgot to mention with saints lost rasheed shaheed which is a electric player in WR/KR but agree with every team & everything else you got great insight lol
Disappointing: Bengals, Saints, Cardinals, 49ers.
Same Old Thing: Jets, Bears, Raiders, Giants.
Both bears and jets are exactly where I thought theyd be prior to the season...
I would love if you did grades for how every teams season went
The jets moving on from Zach Wilson just to get worse is so funny to me I'm convinced someone can turn Zach wilson into a quality qb just like geno & darnold
The Bears Seahawks game ended my hopes and dreams of a fantasy football title. Streamed Caleb because there were no good qbs available and ended with single digits.
FF is against God. Brugh get it together.
My cowboys are not on this list but they are for sure an honorable mention 🫠
Jets, Bears, Titans, and Texans would be my picks
No mention of the 49ers? They went from the Super Bowl to missing the playoffs 💀
No one was picking the Titans to win a Super Bowl, but I think they deserve mention on here. A disappointing season at a time when they are begging people to buy PSLs in the new stadium.
More than halfway through the 4th quarter. Down more than one score. Rogers uses the whole playclock, down to the last second... every... play...
Well... the Giants did play spoiler for the Seahawks post season chances.
6:51 don't look like AA-RON Rodger, it looks like AI-RON Rodgers 🤣🤣🤣
Niners, Cowboys, Bears and Saints
The Bears' fundamental problem is the McCaskeys. They will not be better without the McCaskeys selling the team, period.
Seriously.. Bears and Jets?!! I could've told you that before the season even started. No disappointment. It's just as expected from those two teams.
really confused on how the giants made this list. were they ever projected to win more than 5 games ?
additionally, we all saw how bad they were last year (they literally picked #6 overall), and they decided to not retain their best player in saquon barkley. not to mention we've all seen how bad janiel dones & evan neal have been, so did anyone expect them to perform better?
Four? Just Four? There are more like 15 disappointing teams.
13:20 just because the stats don’t look good those aren’t 8 games it more like 5 or 6 games
Hahahahaha you're disappointed in the Jets? I've been telling you for 2 years now not to buy them.
He's naive
The 49ers are easily the most disappointing team in the league this year. Deebo fell off a cliff, Aiyuk got paid and missed the season, CMC is a walking questionable designation for the rest of his career, Purdy can't carry the non-stars, the defense fell off... anything short of a return to the Super bowl would have been disappointing, let alone missing the playoffs.
I was pretty much expecting the Bears to suck.
Until he joined North Carolina I thought Bellichek would be the next coach for the Jags, Bears or Giants...maybe even the Raiders. 🤷
Im loving the rodgers player arc 😂🎉
SKOOOOOL!
