Oh hey that’s me. Thanks to the dodo for sharing Hopscotch’s story and the community and viewers that made it possible, it’s people like you that give Hopscotch a second chance. Thank you.
-Apo
Thank you so much from the other side of the world!
People like are the future of humanity.
Thanks for all you've done and continue to do not just for Hopscotch, but all of the cats in your community. Not to mention fostering an amazing online community of your own to educate, support, and inspire one another.
The world is a better place with you and Hopscotch in it and together.
Young people like you give us, more “mature” folks hope that the future will be bright. Bless you for making Hopscotch a part of your family, and for getting her the surgery she needed. She would not have survived long on her own.
Kittens are so adaptive - tripods usually do very well, once they are out of pain. Great job! 👍👏👏😺💜
You made me want to save a feral cat I’ve came across. ❤
This channel really helps me not losing hope in humanity really.
Agree!
As long as we're treating the animals better than one another there's hope yet huh 🙄?
Me 2
@Keje_20 No, it should start with us to each other.
❤ Grey fox 🫶
There are very few things as painful to me as an injured animal struggling to survive. Thank you for caring for him!!
my heart can’t take it. i only watch the second half of these vids
@Collins Avenue It is mostly due to human conditioning. It is very common to show the same empathy you would towards another human if it were more "common" animal we resonate with such a dogs, cats and birds. However many people have chickens, sheep, goats, cows, horses and other animals which many people don't feel any empathy towards. We don't mass slaughter dogs or cats in gas chambers but we do it to pigs. We normalised the action of eating certain animals' flesh and others we feel utmost empathy towards.
Nothing wrong with feeling it towards certain animals and not others - it is the way we grow up in this world and only something you can decide to change later in life.
I agree. It's a deep inner emotional pain. ❤
"Give me one week of fight, and I'll give you years of happiness." my heart exploded with love for this guy ❤️
Well said! He seems like a good person, which is pretty rare now a days, IMO.
" if you give me a week of fight, ill give you years of love " 😭
What a cool guy. A guy and his cool cat. Two good buddies.
I am very old cat lady it really means a lot to me to see younger generations taking up the work that we always hope we won't have to do but worry no one else will follow us and help the cats.
THANK YOU FOR SAVING HOPSCOTCH and thank you for your youth and vitality and for offering that part of you to help cats. 💝
Thank you kind hoomans.
I spend $400 a month on cat foods and feeding stray cats in my neighborhood. Trapped and neutered/spayed a bunch of them.
I'm so glad he kept hopscotch. TY for taking care of him forever.😻😻
Thank you so much for bringing this beautiful baby back to health. I hope you share many years together!
That guy seems super chill and kind. The cat also seems super chill and kind. They were a perfect match.
having just put my elderly cat to sleep its good to know there are people looking out for the less fortunate ones. they need loved as well.
So sorry for your loss . May another cat in need of a home come into you’re life again.
I'm very sorry for your loss.
Both heartbreaking and heartwarming. Hopscotch very lucky to have adopted you as his dad.
Poor little thing was clearly in pain, which is why he wasn’t as friendly as the others initially. You made him feel better. Well done!
Thank you sir for choosing to adopt this adorable little tripod Kitty! I hope you all have many wonderful happy years together! :-)
I'm so glad you kept him. You belong together!
Bless you for your kindness.
Anyone who saves a cat is my hero. Thank you. He's amazing
Thanks dude ur a divine soul God bless you both
Look at that sweet face! Yours too . I see the kindness radiating.
Hopscotch is the cutest little cat. Love his mask.
What a wonderful story! I have volunteered and fostered for years and quite often cats and dogs do need to have a damaged limb amputated. But almost always, when relieved of the pain from the leg they quickly find walking around on three legs let’s them play and explore. Tripods as we nickname them, are a different breed, and have proved how strong they are and one can’t help but love them!
@Forsaken No, not too soon. If the damage is too severe amputation is really the best option. Don't you think professional vets can evaluate that correctly?
@Forsaken I don't think you can treat an animal leg like a human leg, because the animal doesn't understand that he must stop moving in order to heal.
Rest easy, friend. My sister’s a vet tech, and she says Vets almost always prefer amputations- not for money reasons but because it’s actually WAY less traumatic for the animal. See, dog and cat bones are much smaller and more delicate than human bones, so repairing them is much more difficult. This is especially the case when the limb has been injured for a while. And after all that, the pet still has to go through weeks of pain and staying inactive without knowing why. On the flip side, amputations have a quicker recovery recovery time because there’s no damaged limb to speak of. And animals typically adjust pretty quickly to having three legs. So while it is ideal for the animal to keep all of its legs, a lot of the time amputation really is what’s best.
@Forsaken The cat's overall wellbeing is why the leg was amputated. If the leg is crushed, and there is no blood supply to the leg, and the cat would be in severe pain with a crushed leg, then that's reason enough to amputate. Their legs are much more fragile than a human's, and without seeing his xrays - the leg might have been too forgone to save without risking the life of the cat, especially being a kitten. The important thing is, the cat is happy and able to move forward as a tripod. He can get around fine, has healed, and also has a loving daddy. Peace out.
Among the hundreds you will come across, there will always be that special one just for YOU🤗😊
And if you're very lucky, it might happen more than once!
Yes!! I'm so glad you took Hopscotch. He'll make you happier than you know. Thank you.❤

"Give me one week of fight, and I'll give you years of happiness."
You hit me dude.
Everyone, I highly recommend get involved with helping to spay/neuter everything! I have 7 cats (at least) that I have spayed/neutered and feed.
Thank you for helping and adopting Hopscotch!!! And, all the other kitties! Every stray cat deserves a home filled with love! ❤
God bless you for being a kitty savior. 🙏 ❤

So glad you found each other 💕🐱💕🙏😇🐈🙏💕😇
I hope Hopscotch has many, many more years of happiness to share with you and bless all who raised the money for his operation.
❤ 🐾🐾🐾
Thank you for rescuing and accepting the cat as your family!
Thank you for your kind and loving heart!❤️
Thank you for rescuing Hopscotch (great name!), helping him heal, and adopting him. In the 69s, when house cats were allowed out to roam freely, our former feral cat got its back leg caught in a dreadful leghold trap. He gnawed off his leg, managed to reach home, and also had to have his leg amputated. He adapted so well - just like Hopscotch❣️
A man who is loving and kind to non-human animals and who also relates well to people is a beautiful human being.
Thank you for rescuing this beutiful furbaby.
Thank you, kind soul.
I congratulate you on this rescue. For the first time in my life, I no longer have animals to caress, to love. I just take care of a stray cat who visits me. I had to place my cats, my health and my resources no longer allowed me to ensure their future. And I wouldn't get over it.💔
He looks at you with absolute adoration. So beautiful to see!
Thank you for your good work rescuing cats! ❤️❤️❤️
Ow so so cute
How happy I am that you found Hopscotch and became his forever daddy, much love to you both, such a brave kitty..❤
"Give me one week of fight and I'll give you years of happiness " that instantly made me cry and feel so good for Hopscotch ❤ thank you for giving this little beauty a real chance at a real life❤❤
You are probably the first human in his little life to ever show him any kindness compassion or love. You are what he was needing so it's no wonder he has such a strong bond with you now.
What a wonderful person you are for saving this beautiful boy
He's a strong little survivor, who needed his forever home and was lucky enough that you discovered him. Such a sweet story ❤
You are are what this world needs more of. May you and your precious Hopscotch share many many years of love and happiness together. ❤️
“ Giving you years of happiness” A statement that every animal in this world deserves to hear and given to.
I am so grateful to this young man for restoring my faith in humans. I am 72 and think this guy is great. Thankyou for being a " helper"...the world needs millions more just like you❤
God bless you for saving Hopscotch ❤
I am sad that the poor kitty had lost his leg, but I am glad he has someone to love him and protect him.
Seeing young men involved in rescue is sooooo cool!!! It's an awesome look! And Hopscotch is a beauty so glad you got him off the streets....
Any guy who sincerely loves and cares for animals automatically looks attractive to me 😂
What a beautiful cat glad he's found a forever home
Thank you for saving that sweet cat. If not for you who knows what may have happened to him. But because of your love and compassion he now has the best life ever and a new best friend.❤❤
My friend, may blessings be upon you.
I love this video. Every cat that my husband and I had they were strays. It's like the picked us out and knew they were safe. 3 years ago we rescued a cat from North Carolina, he was at my mother-in-law's house for 5 weeks before we saw him. He took to us right away and took him home after our visit with my mother-in-law. He is funny and loves to watch the cats, birds, squirrels in our back yard.
I'm not crying. You're crying! 😭
Cats are the weird angels we all need. ❤
Such a great guy to help out feral street cats and take care of them yeah for you thanks a bunch ❤❤❤❤❤
People who help cats and feel the need to help them have a huge heart and deserve the best.
Thank you for rescuing him. So happy you kept him!
So sweet! I had a bookshop in Ohio wherein shelter cats were fostered and then adopted by customers. More than 50 were adopted from my shop over the years. I then wrote a series of novels about the experience (Shelve Under C: A Tale of Used Books and Cats is the first) to encourage other shops to look into fostering dogs, cats, rabbits, etc. The business that took over my location continued to foster, thankfully.
Kindness is so beautiful
“People may surprise you with unexpected kindness. Dogs have a depth of loyalty that often we seem unworthy of. But the love of a cat is a blessing, a privilege in this world.” - Kinky Friedman
Apo ! We need more wonderful and generous and kind and compassionate humans like you in this world. Thank you for loving HOPSCOTCH ! I also have a silver tabby male cat who needed to have his right hind leg amputated. This cat is the love of my life ! Good luck to you both. Thank you for all of the hard work you do with stray and feral casts. YOU ROCK ! 😺😺😺
Hopscotch can now be The Rescue Cat instead of The Rescued Cat! 🐾❤️🐾 Beautiful story! Keep loving these kitties!
Ughhhh my heart is smiling! thank you for saving that beautiful baby and feeding the rest of the angels!!! ♥️♥️♥️♥️
Thank you for saving him, you make the world a better place 😻
Thank you for caring for the homeless cats.
Thank you for helping him!
Thank you living angels 😊
A heartwarming story of rescue & love. Bless you & thank you for making the world a better place.
This story made me cry. I would be proud to have a son like this young man.
So sweet that this cat found their forever home.
I volunteered as a carer and trapper for a Cat shelter. Some of the elderly or injured kitties, were permanent residents. I did adopt some of them myself for love and special care. This takes a lot of fundraising and dedication. My talent was teaching kitties to trust humans to be kind to them. Also volunteered for a wonderful Ferret shelter and plan to do so again. At present, I have a very fearful male Burmese Python whom I can now hold, rarely bites, and is learning I will not harm him. Lost my last shelter cat, Cindy, on May 15. My vet came to my home where she went to sleep where she had lived with care and love. She was 22 years old. Working with animals is very rewarding, expensive and sometimes breaks your heart when it is time to let them go.
This is a happy story. But it saddens me when siblings are separated especially when there is no mom. I am happy for this cat and I appreciate greatly this man who cares for him.
You are a GREAT man. We love you as does HopScotch!
Thank you so much for loving and taking in this sweet little cat. He looks very happy and comfy with you. Wishing him to have a long life with you.
Thanks, Apo, for aiding in the rescue of some of our eldest of friends.
He's a sweet boy and adapted fast
What a beautiful story ❤
It’s people like this, and your channel that gives me hope again in humanity ❤. Every animal deserves a chance in life.
Taking hopscotch as your other self is profoundly amazing....total love, greatness from within.
This kinda Human beings are the reason why there's hope for humanity. Angels walking amongst us
Thanks for saving this gentle soul sweet baby Angel 😻❤
Hopscotch? An appropriate name for him. He is so adorable too. 😍
Just when I give up on the human race I see a story like this and it restores my faith in humanity. Thank you Hopscotch and Apo for lifting my spirits.❣🐱
Sometimes, animals know they need help from humans. And when they approach, give whatever help you can; it makes a tremendous difference for them. The love they offer in thanks is beyond words💝
