Phil Napoleon & Jules Levy, Jr., (trumpet); Charlie Panelli (trombone); Jimmy Lyttel (clarinet & alto sax); possibly Bennie Kreuger (alto sax); unknown (piano); Nick Lucas (banjo); Jack Roth (drums). Recorded NYC, November 15, 1922.
Shirley & Johnson state that this was a “studio band” under the direction of Sam Lanin. As you can see from the information above, it shared some of the same personnel as the “Original Memphis Five.”
