Don't have a Bible at home, but want to dive into the Word to get to know God? Is your paper Bible difficult for you to understand? Read below!
The best Bible mobile app is available for iOS and Android!
All you have to do is search Bible in the search bar and click and download: (YouVersion Bible App+ Audio)
To change the version of the Bible so it is easier to read and understand follow these steps! :)
At the bottom of the app once its downloaded click the Bible button
Then in the top right of the screen above the text it will have a little bubble with abbreviated letters such as (NLT, ESV, NKJV, KJV) Click the bubble and change the version to (NKJV, NASB) There are other versions as well that are easy to read but I found these versions to be best for me! Then next to the version that you chose you can click the download button, that way it will be available for you offline!
I recommend to first dive into the New Testament and learn what God has done for you, and the stories of His life! The Old Testament while being just as important, takes a little bit of time to fully understand the history and context and may confuse you if you are a new believer!
The same information I listed above can be found on amazon as well! You can order tons of cute styles of Bibles with the easy to read versions that I listed above! You can highlight and add cute tabs to help you learn in an aesthetic way!
The best cute Bible that I recommend is the NKJV journaling bible on amazon, red letter with large print! I then got some aesthetic tabs from the brand DiverseBee on amazon as well! Finally my favorite highlighters are from the brand Mr. pen! on amazon as well! Be careful the type of highlighters you chose for your bible, as most Bibles' pages are made to be especially thin, and most standard highlighters bleed through! Always read product reviews before buying!
I really hope that information helps you with your walk with God! It is so important to learn who God really is and what He really has to say by reading our Bibles, instead of just assuming how God feels, and what His direction for our lives is by our own human wisdom!
Who is Jesus? Why should you care?
Jesus loves you so much that He came down from the right-hand throne of the Father in heaven. He took on human skin becoming fully God, and fully man. So that He could intervein on our behalf dying a terrible sinner's death on the cross, and rose from the dead 3 days later!!
Why did He do this?
We are all born sinners, we all fall short of perfection every single day. With God being a righteous judge and being perfect Himself. There has to be punishment for these sins when we die. The punishment we all by default deserve is hell(seperation from God, and eternal torment), but this is why Jesus took on the wrath of the Father on the cross Himself. So that if we repent, and turn from our sins, trusting in Jesus. We will instantly be redeemed and forgiven here on earth and washed clean by His blood. This allows us to spend eternity in heaven with Him! Once we accept this free gift God has given us(salvation) We get to live on earth with the gift of the HolySpirit living within us, and we can bring glory to His name by living for Him and spreading the Word to others!
