Wolpe generally notates bass parts w/o chord symbols. ;-( I'll look at the guitar part and pencil in chord symbols on my bass parts. Then I'm free to play whatever I feel on bass unless there are specific figures that align rhythmically with horn figures (typical in his intros and outros).
