General position theorem. Special dense 2-generator subgroups in C. An example of self-similar Jordan arc in space that does not satisfy the open set condition. An example of totally disconnected self-similar set with a unique one-point intersection that does not satisfy the OSC.
Andrei Tetenov received his DPhil from Sobolev Institute of Mathematics in 2011. He is currently a Leading Researcher at Sobolev Institute of Mathematics and Professor at Novosibirsk State University. His research interests include Kleinian groups, geometric topology and fractal geometry.
