Now who says Heavy metal is the devils music? Whoever thinks it is they are wrong. Heavy metal is the ultimate way to get rid of stress and let your anger out.
@@JUSTICE971it’s about Satan but it clearly paints him in a negative light, making him out to be an evil figure which people are scared of (which he is), and if we’re talking about Metallica specifically then a lot of their music is positive. The entire MoP album is about how unfair it is for certain groups/concepts to be able to control the powerless. Even ride the lightning, this song right here, is about how immoral the death penalty is. Creeping death retells the story of the first Passover from the book of exodus. And To Live is to Die is based on the death of cliff burton and serves as a memory to him. I get some bands are satanic but I’d say on the whole metal isn’t the devil’s music, and Metallica certainly isn’t
For those wondering what happened: this is a clip from the movie Through the Never, and everything starts to malfunction right after this song, the statue in and justice for all crumbles on stage leaving parts everywhere and making everybody worried about it and wondering if they should carry on with the show or not, but as no one gets harmed they continue and play hit the lights in a small part of the stage. James says that playing like that reminds him of the origin of the band playing in the garage. It was planed. You need to see the movie from the start and you will understand it easier.
This is mostly true, but the mic and guitar malfunction here were real, the raw live footage and soundboard audio not from the movie are out there (Mexico City, July 28th, 2012), when the chair and the tesla coils came down and engaged, it interfered with the mic signal and James' guitar signal, the crew most likely knew that was a possibility so they had the other mic on standby on a different circuit, in the other angle of this you can see after he punched the mic stand over, James looked back to make sure the tech that ran up to grab it off the stage was okay. In this one you can see one of the techs motion to the coils and then to cut that mic's power so it was safe to touch and get out of the way. James' guitar line was most likely switched (or set to automatically switch) to a backup circuit if anything happened, because his guitar cut out, too. You can also hear the electric pop and crackle in James' and Rob's separate raw soundboard tracks, they actually cleaned it up A LOT for the movie. The only thing it didn't seem to effect was Kirk's guitar and the drum mics. My guess is Kirk and Lars were on a separate, isolated and insulated circuit, so they wouldn't lose the solo if the interference that ended up happening, ended up, well, happening, since they'd used tesla coils before with no incident, James and Rob most likely weren't all that worried. The crew probably knew it would have been nearly impossible to fix the solo in post convincingly, if they lost the lead guitar and drums. I think it shorted everything digital for a second, because Lars definitely lost his bass drum triggers for a moment (he triggers his basses, but mics his toms and snare, so they would be running on two separate lines), and continued to cause feedback from James' guitar (active pickups) and Rob's bass having single coil pickups. It was a calculated risk, but still a very dangerous one, if James had been actually touching that mic when it cut out, it could have ended a lot worse than what happened in Montreal in '92.
Its was the coils they were buzzing those were real coils if you watch the making it was breaking alot of audio equipment to get it to work and it was beyond loud if you buy the CD the solo is much louder
1:35 "Sweat chilling cold!" "As I watch death unfold" "Consciousness is my only" *mic cuts off* 'HEY WHAT THE FUCK?!' *Throws the mic down* 'REPLACE IT!!!!!!!'
