We didn't have trash laying around where I grew up and a trash dump was disgusting so our area dumped into huge trucks at the dump who would take them to the actual dump about a mile away so we never actually could see the trash dump. I used to love watching the show but the one thing I did have was an old mattress down to just the metal and it didn't make the sounds that theirs did and me trying resulted in a tetanus shot.
As a child growing up watching Fat Albert and listening to their songs, you learned alot from them, it taught me alot in life... Cartoons these days just aren't the same anymore, children can't learn anything from them.

Fat Albert always was and still is one of my favorite cartoons, and the music is great! I remember taping the songs at the end of each show on my old tape recorder cause I loved their songs! Ah, the good ol days! ( Rudy was always my favorite)

It is on CD if you buy the DVDs but it is the same sound quality just pulled from the mono audio on the episodes with the canned applause and sound effects. It would have been nice for them to find the original audio recordings and remaster them but unfortunately there isn't enough interest to warrant that kind of expense

Damn!! You are correct. They didn't form the junkyard band until the 3rd episode, but they played 2 songs before that, 'Don't Go Telling A Lie' and 'Don't Look Down On A Small Guy'.
