The haakaa pumps have been so great during my breastfeeding & pumping journey with my 2 boys. The only negative I've had is with the newer flange design (I guess this came in 4ish years ago; sometime after I had my first haakaa pump when my 4 yr old was born), it's much easier to pinch and get uncomfortable suction with it. It holds better to the breast than the old one, but I definitely have to be more careful with it. I think the tips to prevent painful suction would be useful on the pump's use instructions that come in the packaging. If I hadn't had one previously and would have tried one of the newer generation ones first, I probably wouldn't have kept using it. I'm on the smaller chested side, so I don't know if that made a difference.

I use to have a large milk supply that dropped drastically.. I’ve been trying to increase my milk flow for some time and have been stuck to machines and busy cleaning all the different pieces and baby makes it hard to keep Up with that so I continue to struggle. I usually try to pump every 2-3 hours for 30 minutes.. is this as effective and will it help me in that area? Or is this only a tool for moms who already have a plentiful supply and just wanna casually collect?

Having a baby and handling everything else I amazing. ❤Our Haakaa Pumps are Pumps and can certainly be used to increase your supply. It is not only a tool for mums they already have an established supply. Breastfeeding is a supply and demand system. The more demand there is from breastfeeding your baby, the more milk your body makes. You can increase your supply for example by Power Pumping, adding a Pumping session in-between breastfeeding sessions, or eating certain foods can help as well.
