Thank you for posting. I have been looking at this kart and the Kandi Viper (which I am convinced it is the same kart). What is driving me crazy is every site posting different specifications between engine displacement, horse power, and tire size. This video is very helpful.

Just finished recording footage for oil/transmission fluid change. some nice to know stuff, and a maintenance check flight (ride). still havent washed my kart =)
Question? I have the same go cart. However, one side it has more steering than the other side. Do you have any idea of why?how can I fix that or upgrade the steering
start at the steering wheel and work your way down there are multiple adjustable linkages that goto both tires as well as the wheel having adjustment links. see if something is going one way more or the other.
there are alot of oiled and non oiled larger intakes you can fit, i wouldnbt try to match it the brand of cart but more towards the best filter for the carb matched to the CC's of the motor.
@@bluewolf5582 killed this cart to. pulled the carb and then the whole cylinder head. cleaned all of it and put in a new piston head and piston rings. ran fine afterwards.

I never changed the head, whoever builds them does. They take the stock 150 and make it a 170 or something. I had to dig really deep in honda gy6 motors to figure out what kind of cloned motor they are based on. Done have that info but start with HONDA GY6 and then after take cylinder bore kit.
I live here in Arizona and I'm getting a 200cc kart. I'd like to know did you get an AZ Plate to drive it on the road? I'd like to be able to drive it in town to run to the store and out on the trails? The one I'm looking at has turn signals and fenders, I'm thinking about getting a Plate for it!
If your cart comes with a title you can use that to register it as a off highway vehicle OHV. it cannot be an on road vehicle dude to safety standards. If your cart does not come with a valid title you have to take it to a dmv, (mvd for arizona) and have it inspected, titled, registered and plated for a small fee.
Looks like fun , I've seen these at tractor supply, ect , I used to sell atv's 4wheelers, tractors ect , one idea for dust if u can mabe put a pre filter in it , or adapt am canister filter set up ..
CC's for your vehicle. Match it to what you have. Mine is labeled as a "200CC" in reality its an 150cc motor with the head bored to 170 something. But a 150cc carb works fine. You most likely wont find a 170 cc carb but 150 cc carbs are pretty common and not really pricey. You could go with a nicer brand of carb but i went with a go power sports carb and it worked great. Just dont spray carb cleaner in these carbs as some of the have rubber gaskets for the main jet that will dry out and crack.
a) Are there a parts illustration breakdown manual showing internal parts of engine & transmission? b) I have a 60" pull behind grass cutter here in flat Florida, I need something other than a lawn mower to pull it, do you think that cart would pull it? c) What type of transmission doe it have?
yes on the massimo website they have a... okay parts breakdown for now. these motors are pretty widely used scooter mowers that are based on the honda GY6 there are plenty of youtube videos how to completely disassemble them. It is a forward and reverse one speed transmission. haven't pulled anything with it, but it seems to have a decent amount of torque.
I picked up mine last night. I had to troubleshoot a no electrical power problem. After a few minutes and 3 fuses later I found that the top light bar was making a short when switched on causing the whole kart to lose power. It needs a alignment real bad and the top light bar is bent. Other than that so far so good lol
@@chrisd5383 short in the light bar sounds rough. But its something you could live without. From what i looks like my tie rods go to the top of where the steering bar is to the top of the spindles (standard). Ive had to do the alignment before, it wasn't too hard. What kind of symptoms was it having to let you know the piston become foul? I have the exact same kart and mine is blowing white smoke and idling rough. Mine too was sucking in a lot of dirt
It starts running ragged (rough idle, low power at increasing rpms) due to your carb jets being clogged. If you are running a stock air filter and havent changed it in awhile, or at all, you can almost guarantee that there is dirt in your carb and past your carb inside your cylinder. when that happens you get sand or dust on your piston head and cylinder walls which will start to damage your piston rings as they slide up and down allowing oil from inside the engine to enter the combustion section inside your cylinder. That causes blue, or sometimes white smoke to come out of your exhaust. You will have to remove and clean starting from the air box, thru the carb, and possibly the main cylinder head, and assess any damage and replace parts.
basically it will start pumping smoke until it will just start quitting on its own. it wont be able to put any power out because it cant get the right compression.
be careful! get someone you know to verify its condition. so many people have come on and told me the MANY problems these have had. im just lucky that i have had a decent one.
