Thx for taking us upstairs....didn't look there last visit. I prefer this Pande Putri to Popular or Artasedana. Grand Lucky is excellent too, but a bit less "local" than P.P. Just string up the tinsel over the garden plants Kim....or round pussy's neck! Tree can wait another year. Thx for our Bali fix, yet again.
Love your work guys, what about nightlife ? Apart from Wicked Parrot and Casablanca what else is there for the late night lovers ? Do you guys ever let your hair down and party a little ? Live music bars on main road or the beach.
You’ll find live music at NyoNyo Warung in Jln Cemara, Tapha on the beach, Nesa Combi & Ulu Thai in Jln Tamblingan, Warung Little Bird, Warung Happy Monkeys, Pengkola in Jln Danau Toba, sunday night Crazy Horse at Griya Santrian on the beach, Friday (?) Beatles Tribute band at Segara the Seaside. There’s live music at multiple restaurants & warungs all across Sanur. Not bad for our sleepy Sanur, hey?? 🤭
I so enjoy watching you two. You are so sweet, and interesting. Very good at answering questions. I had planned on moving to Thailand, until Tax laws changed. A friend from there said I should check into moving to Bali. Thanks to all of your videos, I am thinking seriously about Bali. I am 76, getting ready to retire, and want a relaxing beautiful warm place. I live in Florida in America.
Great supermarket……..I think you should go back and get the Christmas tree……and while you’re there grab some of those delicious looking doughnuts! Thank you for sharing!
You two really rock. I feel your videos are raw and real...the quality gas much improved, so from my perspective makes you sooo much more authentic and believable. Just been to Bali. Love to catch up on day. MC...S😊
Pande Putri already exists some years before Grand Lucky. In earlier years it doesn't look so nice there, but maybe because of the opening of Grand Lucky the renovated everything. They still have a broad offer of products and they are cheaper than Grand Lucky. I like to shop there and did it many times.
Thanks for the recommendation of the Griya Nail bar for Lashes. They were awesome professional and inexpensive. Went to the Tootsie shop, but found that entire alley to be a little to much. We nicknamed it shark alley. Tootsie restaurant on the beach was great, the chicken satay on the coals was superb. Thanks again for your advise. Cheers!
Very interesting for sure! Thx guys….. I’m a big fan of avocados and I am told local people are not that fussed over them…. I did notice they were very big at the shop?
Hi Kim & Berg :) The supermarket looks great, luv our videos so keep them coming. I have learned so much already ;) When you are at the supermarket again at some point, could you check out the availability of konjac noodles (slendia brand in Coles or Woolies in Australia) please. I am unable to eat wheat products so these are my life saver option when curry or pasta dishes are on the menu at home. Have you seen them as an option in any of the warungs/restaurants?
Hi Susan, we’ll have a look today when we visit Grand Lucky. I’m pretty sure the major italian restaurants have gluten free pasta. If you select egg noodles would that work for you?
@bergsinbali No, it's not gluten that is the problem it's the whole grain. I have to eat a low carb diet as a result, so no breads, pasta etc, even too much rice can set me off 😔
I have a few photos i took of products at the supermarket. I am not able to post them here. Can i DM via facebook perhaps? I looked but a couple of profiles come up with your name
Isn’t it funny how we get excited about a supermarket?? 😋🤭 When I (Kim) walked in, I thought “we’ve gotta show people around!”. Berg has left behind his initial thinking that NOBODY would want to see a supermarket 🤣
@@bergsinbali We try to always visit a nearby supermarket when overseas to compere what's available and different to our local ones. For example, I buy bacon stock cubes in Bali as I can't find any here in Australia. Where we live in Maldon, Central Victoria, the selection is even worse so it's exciting to visit something new.
Thanks for the video and a look around the supermarket.
You’re welcome Trish, thanks for watching 🌴😎👍👍
Always my Go To
Thanks for watching & taking the time to comment! We appreciate it 🤩
Hay Berg be carful what you ask for. HAHAHA
Wise words 🤭

We’ve hung the macrame christmas tree from the ac remote on the wall with some tinsel. It’ll do 😉
Great! Thanks 😊
Cheers!

Hi guys, sorry im a bit lost as to where this place is, i always go to grand lucky
It’s in jln Danau Buyan, straight across mcdonalds lights. A couple hundred metres along on the left
@@bergsinbali thank you, never ventured over that side. Have a good day😊
Have you tried ACE hardware for a Christmas tree.
We don’t actually need/want one … this year 🤩
We shopped there 4 weeks ago. Great shop.
It really is! 🤩
So glad you did this video.. Very useful. Thank you. P>S> I probably won't get a mophead. Is there taxis there so I can do my shopping?
Taxis everywhere & companies like Grab & Gojek (like Uber)
Always a pleasure 🤩
Thanks for watching 😎🌴👍👍
Merry Christmas & a happy new year
Same to you!

Another great vlog and supermarket looks fab, just a shame so many things wrapped in plastic 🥲
It’s crazy what’s plastic wrapped!! 🤷♀️
Great video. Love the use of local language as I am trying to learn... Also like anything that shows the cost of living.
Keep up the great work. 😊
Thank you! Will do! We’re planning a budget video next month showing what we spent in 2023…. It may interest you 😊

Thanks for your kind words 🤩 See you one day! 🌴
Durian ice cream 👍😄
Something for every taste!
It's a great supermarket. We shop there all the time. We even get their cooked food from the deli area. So yummy and cheap.
So good! 🤩

And of course Pande Putri is worth a lie. 😂
🤣🤣 thanks for understanding!!

@@bergsinbali thanks so much, I really appreciate you doing this for me 💐

Oooh..proper bread?? It's the only thing I miss when in Bali, can you please repeat where you get it from?
Roti Made Bakery in jln Pungutan, Sanur…. Game changer!! 🤩
looks amazing. i like the supermarket vids 😍
Yay! Thank you! 🤩
What an impressive supermarket. Puts our pathetic one in country Victoria to shame. Thanks for the preview.

I think you should learn how to say Terima Kasih instead of thank you.
We know how to say both! Thanks for watching 👍
