This video started something ok ! Thank you for your insight I’m currently working an entry level position in Revenue Cycle Management and I have recently began exploring more opportunities your videos have been very informative as well as inspiring just wanted to say your reach is greater than you know. Hi Courtney, awesome content. I just love your channel. I’m a bachelors student for healthcare administration. I work in the medical billing industry since 2007. Started revenue cycle for 6 years now. I’m looking to further my career in revenue cycle. Thanks for the awesome tips.
I am happy to say I just accepted a job offer for a Revenue Cycle analyst with an annual salary a little over $60,000 a year just based on my past billing and coding experience and Associates degree in Health Information Technology. I didn’t sit for the RHIT or coding exam but I’m thinking of continuing on with my bachelors degree in order to make myself more marketable in the future. My question is do you have to manage staff and how stressful is your workload? I want to be at a happy medium at the peak of my career.
Congratulations on your new job! That is awesome! In regards to your question, for which position specifically are you asking about workload and having to manage a staff?
I found your channel this month, and I am half way through my MBA and MHA dual program. I currently hold a leadership role in my healthcare organization, and have been researching to figure out what my next step will be. Your channel is inspiring me, and I know I am on a good track. Do you mentor in whatever spare time you have? I have been on the hunt for mentors and something about you speaks to me. Your videos are little mentor sessions already! Keep up the great work.
Hi Cortney, i am loving your videos. I am finishing my last semester in Health Admin Services. Could please do a video on diff fileds in Health Admin Services that you can do from home. Thank you !
Hi Courtney! I came across your channel yesterday as I was looking for someone who can explain the revenue cycle management in a way that I can comprehend. I've worked with the Health Insurance side for almost five years and now, I'm gonna work with the provider's side as a patient registration specialist. Your videos have been helpful and I just love the energy and the way you explain things. Go girl! Sending love from the Philippines.
Hi Anjossi! Congrats on your new job as a patient registration specialist! I'm so glad to hear this info was helpful for you. Keep growing and glowing!
I am currently a medical staff coordinator and and I'm not really sure if that is the career I want to stay in. I used to work in patient registration and have been really interested in medical billing and coding. This video is letting me know that my earning potential may be better if I stayed where I where I was.🤦🏾♀️
Earning potential as a medical coder is better than a medical biller. Getting into analytics or in billing management is where you can optimize your earning potential as a mid-level Professional
I am currently a certified medical coder but am so burn out from productivity. So, I am looking to transition into another field. I also have some billing experience and have a 4 yr degree in Business Admin. Revenue Cycle Analyst sounds interesting to me. Is this considered a stepping stone?

Hi Courtney, I currently work at the billing department of a health homes. I basically review core service notes & submit claims so the service can be paid for by Medicaid. Does this count as revenue cycle experience? My organization has a “middle man” company that further processes the claim so I’m not directly interacting with the payer to appeal denials, the company does that.
Hey Courtney, I'm applying for a job as a medicaid eligibility analyst at a hospital and was wondering do you have any tips or info about the job. Thanks.
Hello! Again such a very helpful video since I’m interested with going into this area. Would you recommend a CRCS or CRCP for someone interested in this field?
Thank you very much for this wonderful video. I have a bachelor degree in business management and I will love to have an MHA.
