During the 2007 post violence election our houses were burnt and we became homeless and hopeless. The only hope that remaining was to run to places of worship which was eventually burnt also. We were rescued by a good Samaritan who hosted us during that period. One year later God opened doors for us and we were able to find a place to call home , we reunited again with family and lived happily ever.

First the landscape is good 👍 and the client knows that he/she Fendi amazing .......I like the entrance tall pillars that will bring enough natural light inside the house I like that.....the wood crafting is amazing makes the house more luxurious......The Entrance I suggest a large mirror with lighting around it for the person coming down the stairs can see him/her self take pictures it is a good spot ....sitting area THE TV place is wall A above the fire place the family will enjoy tv and warmth at the same time .....the kitchen two island I loooove that😊 ....the family can be able to cook and enjoy family all together and also the dining area is open to the sitting cooking area good foe entertaining family and friends enough space for people to talk and enjoy.....all the bedrooms have the big class window that will bring enough natural light and also enjoy the views.....the bathroom wall are Giving rich the colors are good. ....the master bedroom is soooo big I like good for a king size bed the walking closet I looove it but the bathroom is breath taking the wall .....the two sink idea his/her is amazing. .....shower with the views. ......the outside is good kids to play around. ...the hidden gaming place for family fun time amazing.......the rooftop the views are amazing hosting family and friends a party will be fun .....THE HOUSE JUST FEELS LIKE HOME FOR FAMILY TO ENJOY. .....I LOVE IT GOOD WORK👌🙌👏🙌👏 luxury 👌

Hey fine urban,I love love your works. I feel that when a home is built and put well together it does not only look good but it brings together those who will be living in the home . I would give an example with the kitchen area. I imagine that someone is cooking in the kitchen and maybe because there is a highbar sitting area attached to one side of the counter space then they won't feel left out if people can hangout around the kitchen area . I love when rooms feel interactive with the rest of the house rather than being closed off. I think this kind of setups bring the best out of families and their ability to live in houses and have a feel of comfort and interactiveness with one another. Well put together houses make people look forward to spending more time in these spaces and they could also give others the joy to host guests because they feel that their house is a work of art and hence guests find it impressive. I have been able to identify all these and many more through watching your designs. I love it all when a house feels like both a work of art and home.❤️

Here is my story!
I was raised and lived in my great grandma's house together with my mum, my twin brother ,aunties and cousins together under one roof. I used to admire our home with my mum and brother . Slowly my mum got a land and started to build a house despite finance challenges. I knew the house would take long so on 1st dec 2023 i visited my mum and to my surprise she told me from then we would never sleep at our Maitu house again. I could not believe it so when we went to the house i was so happy to see it was all done although she did not have the house furnished we only had a bed but i was so happy having our own place. Even today when am here in Nairobi we always video call and she is always happy to have her own place and privacy. This made me so determined to have my own place . Seeing my single mum struggle having her own place and so happy in her house . I also pray that one day too i will own a house .

For me it's all about legacy. 10, 20, 30, 40 all the way to 100 years to come will it still be relevant? I see the videos of architectural masterpieces in Kenya like Fairmont Mt.kenya, and others in Karen, Lavington, Kitsuru, Muthaiga, Nyeri, Nanyuki which were built in the 1900's and yet stand to tell the story of time and additionally still have their aesthetic beauty because quality was not compromised during construction. Same to palaces all over the world in the UK, USA based on the videos I've seen and narratives I'm told by architects and interior designers I get a chance to mingle with. What I'm proud of is whenever I see what fine urban do under the leadership of Cleophas Nyagaka, I know every project will and already is a legacy. That my children and children's children in many years to come these houses will stand the test of time. That generation after generation that lives in those houses, hopefully mine too one day will be a partaker of the excellence, style and prestige of your projects because you don't compromise on anything not beauty, not space, not landscaping everything you do to those houses is already going to beat the test of time. I love the house, I have watched all the videos you’ve posted since construction started and I have been eagerly waiting to see the final product. Awesome! I have mixed feelings about the stairs though. I think they seem too bulky, and they reduce the elegance of the house, my opinion. Metal/ wood railings, or glass panels would have worked better than closed stone half-walls. Is it too late to rethink the stairs design?
