I believe sandpaper shingles have been around in the miniature world forever but this is the first time I’ve used this method and I just love it! The texture is great ❤️
I remembered where I saw the other pumpkin house and went to Facebook to scroll through your photo album. I found the one I had seen. This one looks very different. Thanks for jogging my memory.
That is just too cute. I definitely want one! P.S. I finally started my tree! Almost halfway done with foil and tape for the first floor. A long way to go, but at least I finally took the plunge! You wouldn't believe how bad my anxiety level was. And I don't normally get anxious about anything! LOL
I love the texture too! This was the first time I’ve used that material for shingles, I normally use cardboard but this was meant to be. And thank you ❤️
This is so darn cute!!!❣️ I love the idea of this little witch mouse using an outhouse ♥️ and of course the actual outhouse. You are really so brilliant and talented!!❣️
I was unsure whether Medieval people had outhouses and, thanks to Google, I found they did and from as early as the 15 hundreds, taverns had outhouses for men and women and it was then that the use of Suns and Moons, to denote male and female, were used. Thanks for this super tutorial!
lol I totally get that!! I sometimes lose all motivation for crafting.. it comes and goes. I love it when it comes back and I can't get enough of it. I take advantage of those feeling when they happen. Then it's craft explosions everywhere haha
Google “aleene's tacky glue” but you can use any white glue/school glue. I prefer tacky glue because it grabs on quicker than regular glue. Hope that helps 🥰
Thanks! And yes, all the time. I normally leave them in my videos and I’ll say what I did wrong and what I did to fix it. Mistakes are our best teachers lol

What an adorable outhouse. That closing magnet sound is fun to hear.
You make everything you build look easy. I really enjoy your videos. ❤️
Such a helpful idea using sandpaper to create the look of shingles. Cute outhouse...brings back some fun childhood memories.

It only looks a bit different because I've added to the tree.. I'll be showing that update in one of my next few videos :)

Beautiful ❤. What is tacky glue? (So I can look for a South African equivalent).
