This band is from Argentina, sings in English, and their music videos have a very heavy asian influence.

My parents kicked me out earlier this year and I've been struggling to get by. This song means a lot to me because it does a great job captivating how it feels to have a dysfunctional family. I don't know what it's like to have loving parents and it never felt like home when I was living with them since each day was another fight. Even though it's been hard not having support from my parents I'm beyond thankful for the friends I've made this year, the people who stood by me when I was at my worst. They're my family now and I'm so grateful to have them in my life. That's why I find this song comforting, so thank you SIAMÉS for making this masterpiece.

The Chinese(Mandarin) Character in the Photo, 家 means Family, and it can also mean Home. Whether or not we're looking for one, or we've lost one, Home is undoubtedly one of the most important parts of our lives. Perhaps... It's the one thing we're truly looking for. My Favorite Song from SIAMES, and not just because I'm taking a Chinese Class. Love it! Everytime you release a song, it becomes my new Favorite. You guys just keep getting better and better!

I love how in the music videos people put in their thoughts and interpretations of the meaning behind them. And seeing someone carry on that tradition for a still image just made my day hahaha

The Image fits the song SO WELL! You have a child with a symbol of "home/family" on the forehead (which can represent "desires" or "longing for"). The child is also holding onto a tiny fragment of a house(home)with a crumbling foundation, when it should be the other way around, the home should be encompassing the child. He isn't even able to touch it, because it isn't something he can hold onto. If it were then he would have a foundation, security, but sadly nothing was given to help him later in life. Meaning: The child is longing for family but all they were given was a broken home to cling to. Its sad really... its true for millions of children around the world.

feeling of loneliness, feeling of loss. It tells us about the feeling of losing what was once a home; Without company, without affection, without anyone. Already at this point by losing what we most appreciated (home or family in this case) there is no love left for us, when they left us. There is no love left, no lullaby to cheer us up or comfort us. What is left is ourselves, and those who are still there. It is not about what we lost, but what we can maintain.

I second this. I found Siames through the wolf and I thought it was going to be another one hit wonder band but every song I hear has it's own unique charm to it.
Took me awhile to notice but the song is about kids struggling from the lack of attention of their parents, either by physical abuse or excess of work.

No joke, when I see Siamese drop a new track, I drop what I'm doing to give it a listen and I can thoroughly say that I have never been disappointed, not even once.
I'm silently crying.
These past months I've been having problems with school, internship, work and home. It's been going awful. Depression is a bitch. But thank you, although I'm actually really sad, this gave me a warm feeling. I really wanna make it as an artist. And this gave me hope. It's weird to open up in a UA-cam comment section, but I have nothing else really.

Bueno, la canción habla de un niño o niña la cual no recibe amor de sus padres, probablemente que ignoran a su hijo/ja, como podemos ver en varias frases de la canción, como por ejemplo "Cual es el sentido de tener un hogar roto" con esto supongo que el niño que es el que está cantando, se refiere a "¿Cual es el sentido de tener una familia y un hogar si no nos queremos?" Es como decir ¿de que sirve un techo durante la lluvia si este tiene agujeros?.
De echo "Broken home" es un término inglés usado para situaciones en las que hay un problema familiar.
Otras frases que demuestran que es sobre un niño es cuando menciona los "thunder packs" los cuales son pirotecnia, también los bebés de Beanie los cuales son unos osos de peluche, otra cosa que demuestra que es un niño es la parte en que dice "No hay canción de cuna" lo cual también demuestra de que no recibe amor de sus padres.
La parte en la que dice "en esta tierra de nadie" se refiere a su casa, que le parece como un lugar sin nadie ya que seguramente casi no ve a sus padres o este no le prestan atención, otra cosa que demuestra esto es la parte que dice "donde está el amor cuando te dejaron tan solo".
Bueno a ahí termina mi interpretación, si quieren hacerme preguntas o presentar su opinión por favor hágalo y les contesto.

SIAMES is my favourite artist. The quality of their songs are incredible. The team has insane musical talent.
The music is not only enjoyable to listen to, but has deep and meaningful content delivered and intwined in a ridiculously cohesive way with the music itself.
I fell in love with you guys as soon as I listened and properly analysed one of your songs, the level of meaning that I derived was from someone who was truly enlightened and experienced in the matter, in a way that their expression was all-inclusive.

Bro, this is some beautiful lyric work here. It's plain without being condescending or angsty, it truly feels hurt yet free. I wonder if this will ever get a video. An animation for this would be amazing, I can kind of visualize it. I can see the character in the picture in an animation, and Siames' songs really do bring out the visuals to a storytelling place. The visual itself is very moving and with the music you can feel the story. This is just nice to listen to.
