Fallout New Vegas is one of my all time favourite games, and I'm so excited to present the game like this. I've planned my character build in depth with the goal of pushing the power of my build increasingly to its limit as time progresses. The plan is to complete all DLC, and pick up increasingly powerful items and perks that will help us throughout the game.

It's either that or: well, i have no plans for this level, so let's just take the most busted one i can find
I don't really get why he keeps getting the mods that make the game easier. The game is a cakewalk even on 'Very Hard', especially when he robbed one of the best snipers at the begging of the game.

The opening of Jingle, Jangle, Jingle over a mass slaughter with the "I am become energy weapons, the destroyer of worlds" build perfectly encapsulates the energy that Josh Sawyer had to have wished New Vegas to be drenched in and that's how one knows RTGame holds this game dear to his heart.

Yknow, i was about to say "i only had like 20 minutes of issues where i had to install some mods twice to stop them from deleting themselves from my game" then i realized ive literally got 40 luck right now as ive found about 30 face up pennies without actuslly having anything happen yet

I only crashed once and it was because i left a house in good spring
Honestly, I'd love to play the game again, but I'm not built for games that are kind of "sandboxy" like this-I feel like I just end up not being able to help myself but constantly playing the game the same way.

Fun Fact: When Dan killed all those Easy Petes he completed his transformation into Oppenheimer by setting off 2 actual nuclear bombs in game
There's been so much quicksave/loading that I don't even know what's canon anymore in the RT-NV lore.

The build-up of Dan nuking the Easy Petes, the delayed shock wave explosion of sound and then the sudden rain of their corpses is glorious
Honest to god it looked like an actual realistic twister, except the debris was bits of human corpse. Incredible.
17:16 the moment of quick succession of the legionary turning around only for Boone to instantly disarms him, letting Oppenheimer shoot him clean off the balcony is almost satisfying but it's basically window dressing when you realise Oppenheimer would eviscerate him either way

The fucking BIRD FLOCK of Easy Pete corpses and limbs taking off into the sky was such a hilarious sight that my lungs burned from laughter! Absolute Peak Gameplay, even if you have to sacrifice your eardrums to do it.
5:48 If cut content is to be believed, the Sniper's Nest belonged to two Ranger snipers who played poker there and then were ambushed by legionnaires. Boone most likely used his hunting rifle that day
Plus, the note in the NCR base that points to the location of the nest says that it "has been set up near Cottonwood as requested", though Boone had no time to ask a favor from Polatli or someone else that is connected to him, he was following the Legionnaires and most probably didn't even know where they were going. The probable reply could've been "Well, why the Gobi rifle is there then? The note says there will be "no weaponry. For sure Boone found the nest, sniped the wife, and locked the rifle there", but I will remind you that 1st recon is known for using only hunting rifles. The sole exception is Corporal Sterling, using La Longue Carabine, and he had to get permission to use it from Gorobets.

I do find it a little immersion-breaking when characters tell you “this is a huge force of enemies, we might not survive this” and then it’s five guys you can obliterate with a twitch of your mustache.

UA-cam's new "Stable Volume" is probably very useful and the reason I can still hear.
I didn't even know I had this feature, and I'm in a Premium family plan. Disabled it to enjoy the full experience and was not disappointed

Seeing RT play New Vegas made me want to try the game for myself. I’m 20 hours in and am having a ball! SO excited to actually sit down and watch all these once I’m done with my own playthrough, but I wanted to pop in and thank RT for getting me to finally pick up the Fallout series.
I had a playthrough of new vegas for the first time but hadn't touched it in a bit
Now I picked it back up thanks to these and I'm having a great time again

I remember starting a run around 2021, and this series made me start a new one and I finished the game for the first time at the start of May, if i recall correctly
I've just been doing the DLCs now, as a man named John Fallout (which made that bit in the Old World Blues video so much funnier to me, lol)

When it said "Volume Warning" I thought that it was just another "boom" but it NUKED my TV SPEAKERS!!!

Well, about 50% of that plan went through.
I think Boone saw the prototype and thought: "Hey! This could replace my dead spouse!" and I think that's how he crouched it into his "inventory".
The way it happened too, it literally looked like Boone just booped it out of bounds (we've seen deathclaws themselves out of bounds lol)

I really like how every upgrade in weapon gets closer and closer to a weapon of mass destruction. It really fits with the Oppenheimer build. Also the amount of violent fantasies are increasing exponentially the stronger Oppenheimer gets. Now this is role playing!

You didn't have to kill the Nightkin Jailer, in the rightmost door in the room, there's a key in the desk. You actually snuck in to the room by accident but you never checked the desk on stream 😂

I actually did use the Tri-Radii Oscillator with the Space Helmet in the endgame because it looked cool. Nothing says "take me seriously" like walking up to the NCR with a glass dome, glowing streaks of light, and a sick-ass duster on.
something deeply satisfying seeing something just explode into blood, guts, and plasma without warning. this game is beautiful

Every time RT picks up or ranks up a perk and he says how helpful it is to the build when he already one shots 90% of the things in the game, all I can think of is that quote from the guy talking about parallel universes and half "A" presses in Mario 64

Honestly, the easiest and closest thing to a peaceful way to sort the Nightkin at REPCONN is to snipe Harland the second you open the door, search the room, then immediately go back to Davison. If anything, he gets to be reunited with his girlfriend
