Super Mario 64 in Sonic Generations - Chemical Plant Act 2 Speed Run

- Why am I doing this...?
This is NOT an April Fool's joke, Skyth literally put Super Mario 64 into Sonic Generations, the result is hilarious, amazing, and absolutely frustrating to beat levels with it but this is way too surreal.
Not all levels are beatable with the "normal" way, luckily Skyth has added unlimited wing cap and a way to go out of bounce while in 2D, but utilizing them is still extremely hard and you have to be really creative on what route you are taking. I also try to avoid using Free Cam teleport at all, but not sure how long I can go without.

1:07 “Dr. Robotnik, a second Mario has just hit the tower”
Ah yes, diving into the void to get to the goal ring, totally normal speedrunning strategy!
This is done in the official speedrun of sa2
Is a classic in sonic colours
@@noahsmith7267 for pyramid cave right
@@tsyumamatsuthehavenofguard32 i think it's mainly done in final rush, crazy gadget and eternal engine if my memory is correct
We trully are in the future.
It's the time when people take Mario out of his game and place him in other games just to keep the SM64 speedrunning community alive
Oh no
The community isn't infecting other games to stay alive.
Its infecting other games because Mario 64 can no longer contain him.
He's built so much speed that he's clipping beyond parallel universes
@@typhoon1575 Now he is indeed 4 parallel universes ahead of us
@@typhoon1575only a matter of time until he's in real life
1:00 Mario has commit the 9/11 incident
"SIR, MARIO CRASHED INTO- did he noclip?"
LOOL
Bro, imagine Sonic running at full speed, leaving a massive trail of dust behind him and all, and suddenly he sees Mario BLJing away from him
Here's a little tip, try putting on the wing cap while Mario's in mid air. That way, whenever you wanna keep moving, it won't mess up your flow.
I don't think that's possible, at least I can't do it
You can’t put the cap on midair unfortunately
1:00-1:07 this looks familiar
😐
NO MARIO NOOOO
i cant believe mario would do this :(
Bro, you did that joke fr.
Bruh hahahaha
"Who is that happy man flying around above our power plant?"
That's the only thing I can imagine the boss saying.
0:17 - That's the BLJ action I wanted to see!
Okay the BLJ into the rail grind was actually kinda stylish ngl
lmao imagine if I put a timer to wing cap it wouldn't be so funny now would it
Thanks Skyth very cool
Please don't
Please do
AaaaAAAA
You can save anywhere between 10 and 20 seconds if at 0:22, right after the BLJs, you land next to the grindrails instead of on top of them, and then triple jump and fly onto them. You gain more speed and height that way than by going to the ramp later on, and you also don't have to go all the way to that ramp. It also makes some more background textures load later on for some reason, giving you a better indication as to where the goal ring is.
Great run btw! I genuinely thought this stage was unbeatable until I saw this.
1:12 is that the ground texture from Crisis City?
I was reminded more of Eggman Land in Unleashed
@@ianrennebohm8294no not the background, the four way intersection!
1:05 Mario no not the mushroom towers
I wanna see a TASer pause buffer BLJ _straight_ to the end.
Not sure if you could pause buffer in Sonic generations because it's a different pause than sm64
@@ArbelMilis Oh, yeah. That's right.
It has started
0 Chaos Emeralds BLJ% speedruns are real
when sm64 speedrunning is so popular that they put mario into other games
1:00 mario don't do what i think you're gonna do???
My boi Mario demonstrating that being in Sonic's shoes is not that hard
1:02 9/11
1:56 ???
WING CAP?!?
2:00 _ack! ...I hit my nose_
Somari in Sonic Generations
4 parallel universes ahead
Bro how do you do that whenever I try backwards long jumping Mario just defaults to normal jump
BLJ IS IN THIS MOD?!?
Can we just made a mod of Mario 64 irl?
cool video
We laugh, but Mario almost did better than sonic, just a second off from the wr of this act
it's epic
