I really like the idea of making him more assasin-ish, bcuz rn it's just ,,press gadget on spawn, wait for your super, jump on your teamie's back and do the job, then repeat", this strategy is not only pretty boring but also rarely works, it's decent for power league but ladder... yeah.
Some great ideas but personally I think he should be reworked to mostly a support, since that what he's referred to in-game. He can still have a small bit of assassin in him but his main role should be support.
Stunning enemies (and himself) is a support mechanic. He doesn’t do enough damage to eliminate enemies on his own and relies on teammates to finish the job, which is a support mechanic
I think that getting rid of that slight delay on his main attack will make him a good assassin in solos. My main problem is that after my super, the enemy always attacks first, because of that split second delay. If you get rid of that, it will make him muck more viable.
how about rework his power hungry star power into something like toughnes effect (for kit's) that will reduce the duration of any kind of negative effect including stuns, poison, silence, debuff etc , and when his jumping into team mates he will give those toughness effect to them. i think it will be prety cool
I was actually shredding people in Solos up to 850 trophies without bushcamping, but everything else is completely true. I had to use a specific gadget, star power, and combo to take out people, and I couldn’t use him at all in other modes
In think all support brawlers are made with 2 playstyles in mind as all support brawlers can be played differently than a support. Poco - Damage Dealer, Gus - Sharpshooter, Pam - Tank, Byron - Sharpshooter, Max - Damage Dealer/Assassin, Doug - Tank, Ruffs - Sharpshooter, Gray - Sharpshooter, with Sandy, Sprout, and Gene having their support roles changed. In my opinion, this is a better choice as a pure support brawler just wouldn't work cause you would just get a brawler that is basically useless by themselves. Kit is suppose to be a Support/Assassin brawler but the problem was that his assassin aspect overshadowed his support role, now it feels like he's only good for support which even that aspect can be underwhelming.
I think if Kit is ever good again, he CANNOT be good it solo showdown at all. He is supposed to be a support brawler and I think that it doesn't make him a bad brawler as Showdown isn't even considered a real competitive game mode anymore. Poco is a great brawler but he isn't at all meant for Showdown and I think that Kit's reign as an assassin made people forget that he is SUPPOSED to be a SUPPORT brawler and the assassin-like mechanics are built to be Support use only. Really he needs to be compared to Poco. Poco in a vacuum is typically going to lose battles and is weak. But with teammates to support he can be really insane. Both Kit and Poco have attacks that go through enemies and deal relatively low damage. Kit just needs to really have less attack based abilities. His super is really meant to be used in the modes Poco is much weaker in. Kit provides a major advantage to finishing off enemies when he stuns enemies and stops their healing. He can also provide range support for tanks and give them the defense they need while also preventing enemy group assassins (I made that up but it just means brawlers like Mortis and Buzz who excel at killing grouped up enemies) from team wiping as it will leave them to face Kit's quick attack (that should be a finisher assuming the assassin took some damage).
When kit is on a brawler the damage is split between kit and the brawler Overly attached is now passive, replaced with a 50% shield when on a brawler Cheeseburger now works on enemy brawlers Box can only be activated in bushes Powercube starpower now works in team gamemodes and 1 kill = half a powercube (resets on death) Fix the bug that makes him weaker All of this will make kit at least top 10 (The assasin build will be the box and powercube and the support will be the 50% shield and cheeseburger)
considering the fact that he was op when he came out and trash now id say u could probs either do what u say (rework him) or give him some buffs and some nerfs but its probs gonna be difficult
I think he should keep his super after getting off a teammate because he needs a way to escape if the other team kills his teammate. Also he should be invincible on an enemy again, or even a 75% shield because he is pretty squishy so I feel like 30% shield wouldn’t do much anyway
I think the cardboard box gadget is okay overall,the cheeseburger gadget is in dire need of a rework, id definitely change his overly attached star power to be a oversheild or damage reduction when attached to a brawler or enemy, this could also be a mythic gear that can help out with this, i think power-hungry should have an extra effect that could allow him to gave 20% boost to status effects while keeping the damage buff with power cubes so it can be viable in more game modes
Speaking of reworks, What if they made a change to Larry and Lawrie like this? (instead of a bunch of nerfs) Shelly fires an attack at Lawrie (or Larry) Shelly charges her super or aka being able to charge ur super from either brawler
Chuck rework next. Chuck super is annoying to use. Aiming super should always place a pole and autoaim should make you go through the track. Aiming super replaces pole you are closest too if you have max poles. Reroute gadget can remove all poles and give you super fast super charge rate for the 4 next supers.
May your idea reached Supercell. I don't understand what was the developer team thinking? Kit was marketed as Supporter but his playstyle is more like an Assassin. Then, the devs nerf Kit so hard, he's now deemed unplayable even at power 11. Except in Showdown. It's better if Kit and "cough" Doug was never released in the first place!
the community really offers a lot of goods reworks/changes for brawlers but i havent see a single time where supercell did listen to any of them and the way the game is going rn (release pay2win brawler>nerf it to the ground when it is free for everyone>dont care abt the brawler again) i cant see them doing any of this. hope they listen and prove me and more than half of the community wrong.
I think that if half of the damage you would take while ulting an enemy would go to the ulted enemy, then it would be cool. He has no hp, and that dude likely dies anyways, but you can kinda use them like a shield!
I agree. Also there is another bug, when he jumps on a teammate and shoots early, he gets kicked off SUPERCELL basically fixed all the bugs that made him good but totally ignored the bugs that make him bad
As someone whos played Kit during Early Access, this would for sure make him more fun to play after getting nerfed to the ground. He isnt fun anymore, and he is so incredibly bad, you either attack someone from behind or have to third party just to survive.
We have a brawler who have super which is random, chester so we should also have a brawler which can give buffs in his choice like speed damage etc buff
I feel like they should rework power hungry so it works as it dose in showdown but, in 3v3 he kinda gets a like kill streak, where every time he kills someone without dying he gains a small buff of 100 health, and 100 damage
Another bug is if you jump on somebody that does a super that involves them dashing somewhere like collete they are no longer stunned and since there is a glitch where you can’t attack right after your stunned you’re basically dead

they could make the 70% shield default thing and change 1 of the star powers to something that would give him % of his ult back, depending on for how long he would be on an enemy/teammate up until like 50%, and the longer u are attached the more of an ult you would have charged

You think I should still get him for credits or no, he seems like he could be a very fun brawler to play but they should definitely remove the bug that you can't attack after killing an enemy with super, they should give him shield when on an enemy with super and they should rework the power cube star power into being able to give a shield to a teammate after using ur super, it would perfectly make sense you could either decide between being able to stay on a teammate for a bit longer or you could go with giving a slight damage reduction when on a teammate. It would be great. He could still be played a little bit as an assassin without the bug and having a shield when using super on an enemy but it wouldn't be that strong so you'd still play him as a support most of the time and he would feel great since you could heal with the hamburger gadget and you'd be able to reduce the damage a bit that's dealt to a teammate. That would be perfectly balanced and he'd be very fun to play without being broken the thing is how do you want to convince supercell into doing something like that. They will probably do something about kit but I have a feeling it will take supercell forever to do anything and I'm almost 100% certain that when they finally do something it will be something insignificant and they will call it a day. I think I'll get him for the 3800 credits and hope that supercell actually care about the game and will buff kit in like the next patch. They literally released a crazy op and undefeatable brawler that you could only buy for $30 and before free2play people got their hands on him he was useless. Also the people that spent the $30 probably aren't very happy that they spend that much money on a brawler and he's now pretty much useless or at least pretty bad to what he could be or compared to other brawlers.

the star powers just feel so rushed, like a 20-25% damage reduction while he is on a teammates back makes more sense than just increasing the time you can stay
I feel like with his gadget it could be like when you are inside a bush you get the faster supercharge, and you become invisible. He is invisible in bushes as well so the onvisibility is kinda useless in them, but outside you could just be invisible wothout the supercharge, and standing in place isnt that good, cuz brawl is a fast paced game
His pc star power can be reworked so you get stat buffs with each kill(kinda what you said) and maybe his second one is when you attach yourself to an opponent he gets a dmg reduction of something similar to that

Yeah I used to main him like he was my fav brawler, but now he feels useless. U can only use him as a thrower which I do find fun but that only using wut 50 percent of his kit(hehe get it)? And the worst part is that when u try to go for someone you always die unless no is around of they r under the hp threshold. His kit is way specific and they don’t complement his kit nearly as much as other brawlers gadgets and star powers. And the final straw for me was the fact that he can’t do anything if you one shot a brawler with ur super. Like they quite literally fixed every bug except for the one that made him, to me, essentially unplayable. Dude pls fix him I waited for this brawler for two years, and now you can’t play him without dying of the boredom. Give me my main back 😭.

As a Kit main, i agree. Got him to Max Mastery AFTER the actual fixes and 'nerfs'. Still had fun because his mechanics for me feel really fun

They will probably do something about kit but I have a feeling it will take supercell forever to do anything and I'm almost 100% certain that when they finally do something it will be something insignificant and they will call it a day. I think I'll get him for the 3800 credits and hope that supercell actually care about the game and will buff kit in like the next patch. They literally released a crazy op and undefeatable brawler that you could only buy for $30 and before free2play people got their hands on him he was useless. Also the people that spent the $30 probably aren't very happy that they spend that much money on a brawler and he's now pretty much useless or at least pretty bad to what he could be or compared to other brawlers.

That’s just simply untrue, there are teams made to get kit behind enemy lines with the invisibility then throw him the ball using 2 brawlers that can take the ball quickly
That doesn't work 9 out of 10 times
the star powers just feel so rushed, like a 20-25% damage reduction while he is on a teammates back makes more sense than just increasing the time you can stay

I feel like with his gadget it could be like when you are inside a bush you get the faster supercharge, and you become invisible. He is invisible in bushes as well so the onvisibility is kinda useless in them, but outside you could just be invisible wothout the supercharge, and standing in place isnt that good, cuz brawl is a fast paced game

His pc star power can be reworked so you get stat buffs with each kill(kinda what you said) and maybe his second one is when you attach yourself to an opponent he gets a dmg reduction of something similar to that

Kit exist because his based on cartoon only and he attached on teammates is strong because it's not based on cartoon? Idk but I do know he's attack and super on enemy is based on cartoon but what I want about his super when he attached on enemy is you know about how cartoon fight each they move just a little bit yeah I suggest that when Kit is on the enemy he can move with the enemy just a little bit maybe slow kinda like Willow but not that fast slow movement they should just copy everything in the old cartoon about his gadget and star power maybe Tom and Jerry or Loony Toons and that's how you solve Kit assassin and support
Okay so i think its too early for such a new brawler to get a rework just because it got nerfed pretty hard, like in the end the brawler will keep getting an infinite amount of balance changes either because he's terrible or too op, so maybe just buff others like frank and doug and when kit becomes outclassed by a lot of brawlers and becomes forgotten then give him a huge buff/hypercharge

Me personally, i would make it so when hes on a enemy brawler, he'd get a shield that reduces 60% of dmg
They should make his healing fixed when jumping on an ally, that makes it not exclusively viable with tanks

Kit is so unique and so fun but currently, he's ruined I mean they cant keep him like this both his star powers need a change (especially power grab who the heck thought this is a good idea they should fire him it makes no sense) and his base kit needs some changes like maybe a small shield with the super just like Willow has
Kit is really bad now and not being able to deal with 90% of the brawlers hurts me cuz i like him ( im a cat person so thats why) and these changes would make him pretty decent, good job on making a garbage brawler decent u should try this with like doug or some other bad brawlers in the future😀
my idea for kit buffs
he is invincible on enemies
fix the bug and make him invincible when you fall from his temate for 0.5 so he doesn't get instant death
theyre not going to rework kit..a new brawler ,they still havent changed Frank who has been bad all the time

Yeah I used to main him like he was my fav brawler, but now he feels useless. U can only use him as a thrower which I do find fun but that only using wut 50 percent of his kit(hehe get it)? And the worst part is that when u try to go for someone you always die unless no is around of they r under the hp threshold. His kit is way specific and they don’t complement his kit nearly as much as other brawlers gadgets and star powers. And the final straw for me was the fact that he can’t do anything if you one shot a brawler with ur super. Like they quite literally fixed every bug except for the one that made him, to me, essentially unplayable. Dude pls fix him I waited for this brawler for two years, and now you can’t play him without dying of the boredom. Give me my main back 😭.
U are right nubz I play kit in only solo mode if I pay other mode I loos trophy . He is not good in 3vs3 modes 😅.

I really think they should cut the invisibility gadget, with that Leon does not feel legendary anymore
