- Discussing on Talk Today, Jeremy Kyle clashes with broadcaster Narinder Kaur after a British Red Cross poll found 59% of people overestimate the number of asylum seekers in the UK.
This comes as food supplies have been brought aboard the Dorset barge the 'Bibby Stockholm' ahead of the expected arrival of asylum seekers to be housed aboard.
The vessel was evacuated following the discovery of Legionella bacteria in the water supply. The Home Office have said all necessary tests have been completed on the floating vessel, which has been out of use since August.
Narinder Kaur argues that it’s 'racist' to say there’s a migration problem.

In actual defined law nobody is illegal when they arrive and can only be deemed illegal or not after process, same as nobody can be called a criminal until they are sentenced by a court.

In a country like the Republic of Ireland with a native population of about 4.7 million open border mass immigration is changing the country beyond recognition. Facts. Ive seen people say that the irish are just as guilty because they are white despite what they went through .. that makes me sick coming from a English/Irish family and everything they went through growing up. At the moment there is court case going on where a young school teacher was murdered while she was out jogging, the judge wants the jury to go easy on killer, he is a roma gypsy. As a British citizen who is mixed race, my father's side not being British and my mother's side is British. I can say with good confidence Narinda, if your parents are anything like yourself it is most likely people weren't non-welcoming to them because of their race, most likely it was due to the fact they would be unpleasant to be around.
My family is English/Irish .. we have always been taught to be understanding and welcoming due to what the Irish went through .. But we are also taught not to be weak and walked over by people who act like this. I cant speak for every white person in this country but for myself and my family its NEVER been about the race but how the person acts and treats us is how we act and treat them in return. Funny we got along with other cultures in our community back in the day until we imported this woke American mentality. We do have a problem. In Hartlepool, a 70-year-old man was murdered by a migrant outside of a house that was being used by migrants.
There was a complete media black put about this story. Now broke when GB News was informed about this. The MP for Hartlepool is demanding that
the migrants be removed from the housing. We just do not know who we have living next door. My village in County Durham is seeing more and more people who are not British citizens. Deffently are migrants as well. But the council is not saying anything.
No it's not racist, it's called being realistic. Narinda just seems to call anything she doesn't like racist - quite like a lot of people are doing currently, doesn't work anymore as I couldn't care less whether or not a racist person who seeks out race in every situation thinks I'm racist.
Quite a simple way to look at it really - if we have people in the UK genuinely waiting for homes and are struggling to house the current migrants we have - then yes, it's pretty clear there's a problem with migration in this country - whether it be how equipped we are to handle it, or being related to the numbers, still an issue related to migration. It's not the governments problem as the government pays for everything using taxpayer funds - it's the taxpayers problem and the taxpayer's who are disadvantaged when we end up paying for everyone else instead of using tax funds for our own local population. Particularly when we can't even identify actual asylum seekers with the crap state of the current system.
If we want to talk about actual logical and realistic solutions to the asylum issue - each country should be taking in asylum seekers who have similar belief systems as to minimise the disruption to both sides in terms of culture. It's actually counter productive for western countries to take in asylum seekers with contradictory belief systems as it leads to more problems further down the line for both the country who takes the asylum seekers in and the asylum seekers themselves. Let's also not forget there is a very good reason that close locations like Jordan aren't interested in taking any of these asylum seekers in stemming from what occurred in the past when they did, and the fact Hamas are the elected leaders of Palestine which suggests a lot about the culture overall.

To be honest, for many people in the UK, its not exactly how many now, its how long can we sustain the numbers, without irreversible damage to our wildlife and habitat. Obviously this is important to British people. We get the impression that those who want more and more immigration, including the immigrants themselves couldn't care less if the things that made the character and beauty of this country are obliterated, including the British people. Overbuilding is going to be a problem at some stage. More housing requires more water and more sewage capacity, which apparently isn't considered when getting planning permission. We just want honesty from those who are supposed to know these things.
If you're a part of the Empire you'll have to live within it. You have other options - Canada, Australia, Caribbean. Why not emigrate? Others have done so why can't you?

How many of these Dr's, Nurses etc would we need if none of them were here. And what about the numbers that don't leave or change their status, like students who can now bring their families and the ones entering on work visas that again bring their families.

Whilst Narinder is entitled to her opinion, every time something like this gets debated she does nothing but run down nearly every aspect of the UK criticising everything from the Royal Family to the UK citizens in general. Even suggesting the English George cross flag should be dropped as it's not inclusive. She even has a go at women including decent ones such as J K Rowling, Rosie Duffield and Kellie Jay Keen for standing up for women's rights over trans rights. Or saying there are only 2 genders, which, is not a opinion it's the truth.
I dont blame people for jumping to conclusions. NHS waiting list is 12% of the population, 20 people fighting for every property for rent, it just feels like there are too many people in the UK and not enough resources to go around.
Just look at our cities and towns and the demonstrations in London over the weekend. We have had mass immigration over the past two decades. 600k net per year and gross 1 ,2million. The kind of people leaving the UK are not the same as the kind of people moving in, hence the figures are skewed.

We are a small island, with a land mass similar to New Zealand, gave or take a few miles. Yet the population of the UK stands at 68 million, or thereabouts. Not only that, how do we know whether or not those arriving here on small boats are not criminals with a criminal record as long as your arm, or terrorist sleeper cells. As for your statement on Ukraine refugees I think they all had their passports and documents with them and once again it was the government that allowed this and not the British public also the Ukrainian refugees appear to be women and children not young healthy males with no documents.
You also have to ask what benefit does a person who flees his country leaving his family behind rather than fighting for it brings to Britain
British men and women would stay and fight to the last to protect their family and country rather than flee.
Also tax payer money is not infinite and as you say NHS cost of living inflation housing shortage are having a great effect on households and seeing thousands of young males in nice warm hotels being fed clothed provided with mobile phones pushbickes having entered the country illegally rightly grinds on families who have to work around the clock and have to go hungry say no to their children and can't afford a night in a hotel.

The problem that Kaur is ignoring is that if even 7% of the people coming into the UK are illegal immigrants, that means they are not legally registered taxpayers. meaning they are a drain on the economy. If for example one of them is sick, injured, etc, and in need of medical treatment, they are essentially receiving it free off of the backs of hardworking taxpayers. And as non-taxpayers, they're not contributing to the economy which they are now relying on. This therefore can lead to a deficit whereupon more money is being spent on the NHS than is going in. Therefore illegal immigration is tantamount to a parasite feeding off of the system.
